Terrible start for me again in this EPL predictor. Just 8 points from the first few matches. Was really close to some getting correct scores but just couldnt. Norwich missed that big chance in the end and must got mad for it. Hopefully i get 3-6 points from the last 2 matches to jump into top 10

Good start brother! Both of us has 14 points so far from the round. Hopefully tomorrow we will have another good day. I had Watford to win, but then at the last minutes or so I changed it to Villa to win. Wrong move is costing me or I would have another 1.5 points LOL

PS: Won a shirt but thinking to give it away on the next Liverpool match and if not possible then tomorrow in the City match. Jeremy needs to give me a heads-up ☺️

Still the whole season ahead. Don't worry. Plenty of times to be better.
Liverpool was outstanding. Just loved it. It's good to stay under the radar, no pressure.

Bad start for me in the pool too, it is what it is though. At least Liverpool started well though, that makes me happy. We are so much better with Van Dijk back from injury.

It was hard for us in the last season without him. Salah has goals now in 5 opening premier league match. Mane still have time to come out from the bad form. Overall, boys were outstanding in the ground.

In the last pool, 3rd-5th place were all tied with closeness so it'd be helpful to know how scoring works and what Superbru doesn't tell you, no?

Lol, talk about bad starts; I have to nail the scores on both of tomorrow's matches just catch up to you.

LFC did have a good outing today, it was a fun game to watch also.

Yeah Liverpools defence is looking really good currently. I dont like the midfield much,the attack is still the same. Salah again is brilliant at start of the season that is promising for Liverpool. Van Dijk is so much better on the defence then Fabinho who played the entire last season on his spot and that isnt his position at all

I have had the best start to the pool during this season compared to the last one by finding all the results,not correct scores but close and normal wins in all games except Watford and Arsenal.So far it looks like many people in the pool have done well in predicting this round so far as the games outcome mostly were like predicted,a really strange thing considering big surprises always happen in the Premier League.

@Pamoldar neck to neck, but I hate early season leads. Liverpool does that a lot and is still the only EPL team to ever top the league at Christmas and not win it haha (4 times already I believe?).

@swogerino that's the way to do it, I've learnt. More results = more slam points. I did pick some upsets but I didn't think they were TOO big of upsets, but I'm constantly reminded that slam points win the day more often than not. That said, Spurs today for sure!

@LFC Joca It made such a difference seeing Matip and VVD at the back. Alisson feels three times as confident with them in front of him. Also nice to see Bobby, Salah, Jota all get their goals. Salah's always supremely sharp at the start of every season. Such an athlete, and Mane will get his due. Love seeing this 4 guys rotate with each other, helps keep it fresh.

38th. I started as I tend to go on, setting standards early. Also, can I just mention how much I dislike Burnley, and Brighton right now. I had it down for a 0-0 draw right, and Liverpool won 3-0 like I predicted. Burnely, and Brighton cost me 247k. I'm not not sure how they're going to make it up to me. That's probably the closest I've ever come to big money with my insanely stupidly long accumulators.

Midfield is still very good. Yesterday, that wasn't our strongest midfield. We still have Henderson, and Thiago to slot in. Fabinho only came on in the second half. I'd say its still one of the strongest in the league.

Man City screwed me. Tottenham have looked really good, something which I didn't expect I thought with the Harry Kane situation going on, they would lack urgency. However, its been the complete opposite, and dare I said it without a striker, Man City look somewhat toothless. I don't rate Torres, and Mendy at least for a team that should be challenging for the league title. Think they are more suited to a team like West Ham.

As for the score predictions, not great this week from me. Although, I got a few results in pretty dire actually.

It was an impressive round from him tbh, and he's already gotten even with his entry fee 



Great win from Tottenham, but that was a really terrible goal to give away having initially covered up properly when Tottenham had hit them on the break, Son could have also scored another goal of similar fashion, they were so terrific on the counter-attacks.

Well, well, well, what a match Toons and Hammers served up. I honestly thought West Ham were going down after halftime ended 2-1 but 3 fantastic goals (even got the bonus of a penalty rebound) meant only icopress got the Close score (3-2, that's balls, man, but someone actually predicted 4-3 Newcastle -- even more ballsy!).

Annoying that it was City and Spurs who disappointed, though we should perhaps have expected that when Kane wasn't starting and City continue without strikers. 0-0 half time just didn't fit the bill for what was supposed to be the match of the week... but happy I got to be one of the five guys who backed Spurs (Bergwyn should have made it 2-0 but I'm not complaining as City missed a lot of chances too.

@Welsh I did say City not playing with strikers is going to bite them at some point. They won the league last season doing so but trying to do it AGAIN is really not how you defend the title. But credit Spurs man, and Son is 10/10 for me every day any day. That guy.

@Pamoldar it was nice, and happy to bag the first yellow cap, getting Brentford and Spurs right sweetens the week for me (also because Spurs completed my 22/1 parlay on City losing their first 2 games of the season after losing to the same scoreline to Leicester), but the slight bummer is that none of the SB EPL countdown specials hit.

@Harko almost the entry fee, we ended up paying something like $90 haha with BTC so nicely appreciating;)

I think City lost so many tickets today as myself had City to win but they looked like they are not the same team anymore and they're missing a good striker ...or at least this is what I say during the game.  It was a great EPL round this weekend and I do look forward for the next one as I have some revenge to take with Arsenal to win and City to score.
