We should have invested heavily after winning the CL & PL & we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Not sure when we will stop losing. It's now 6th lose in a raw in Anfield. It's seems we are losing our game when we are in our own ground. Not that we are doing great in away matches but losing 6th match in a raw in home ground is a disaster. Noting is going right and we need a fix.

Yes in jury is a problem but that's why the management are there. Don't they have good talk with Klopp?

My pool performance are just like my team. I also need a fix but not sure where to invest my focus. Any expert tips?

How is that tackle from Saints goalkeeper on Foden not a penalty. This has started to be a total travesty in Premier League. There is no advantage rule for fouls in penalty area so this must be a penalty even though Foden tried to finish the chance. What message are you giving to the players with decisions like this? Fall down, yell like you have been shot and then you will get penalty. I am not blaming the main ref so much but whole VAR room should get sacked after apologizing to City 

City is good enough to win even without that penalty but this just gets ridiculous.

We've probably seen worse from VAR in the EPL, I'm not surprised..

I checked the pool and Twitchyseal and Webtricks went for 7 and 8 Nil respectively, I'd suppose that's some bluff even though City weren't too far from hitting those numbers.

Went for a risky 5-0 last night and City got the 5 exactly but I didn't expect Southampton to score. Would have won this round without those two goals.

Yeah, that was a blatant penalty but it's another one of those situations where if the player had gone down and stayed down it likely would have been given and that's why players get rewarded for diving because if you stay up it's never given. VAR should have given that on review though and I'm not sure why they didn't. The Southampton one didn't look like a penalty to me at all. It looks like he just threw himself to the ground and because there was apparently minimal contact of the City player having his hand on their shoulder a penalty is given. All this stuff does is encourage diving.

Man City recovered well as I expected they would. It’s what good teams do, they respond to defeats. There is no doubt City will become champions this season. I do hope they get knocked out of the CL though

I like their consistency. As Liverpool fan it's hard to accept though. I just wish if we did not have injury in this season. It ruined us in EPL. But it's good to see that we are still in CL. I was not hopeful about last night but it was good to see we won by 2 - 0 against Leipzig. I was a bit worried.

Well they're going to be hard to beat given that they've got a 14 point gap against second place United, but don't write Man United off yet (as much as I dislike them). United beating City at home was impressive. They have a game in hand as well. Don't overlook Leicester or Chelsea either in third and fourth place and respectively only one and four points behind second place United. Leicester and City are playing each other early next month as well. If  Leicester can grab the full three points from that it might make things interesting.

I don't think is that hard to pick a winner and I have gonna for an Aston Villa victory.I think Newcastle is a team which is still weak despite making some good runs lately including the win against Liverpool and tonight I predict they will lose.

Aston Villa is not the same when Grealish is not playing. Newcastle also missing some important attacking players like Callum Wilson, Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron. I expect both teams to play very defensive game and I'll be really surprised if we see more than one goal tonight. I went with 0:0 in our pool but skipped when betting. Hate to bet on under and match line has no value for me.

This is what I hate the most (well, at least among the things I hate the most) in football. That you seldom do right by these fouls to players that just get up and dust themselves off -- but those who fall and exaggerate everything get the decisions. How does this not reward simulation, yeah? Yet another decison-making nonsense, review, no review. The ongoing circus that is VAR.

@Joca97:  Nice on you to get  3 points,  I went for a slim Villa win (2-1) and bet on a Newcastle win.  Should have known better.

This is what happened to me.

I had 1 - 1 for the match but few hours before the kick off I changed my mind and gone with 0 - 1. Lost full three points LOL.  I am also out of top 10 now 😛

Chelsea and City match seems predictable to me but not sure about the rest two matches.

Chelsea win to nil is looking live here again.  I think the line for it was 2.70.  Tuchel really has done well since he took over.  They could end up at that second spot at the table imho.

Another decent bet could be Tottenham to win and BTTS at 4.70.  Another one is all hail the genius Moyes draw no bet at 3.15 or something vs United.

Premier league this season is just full of surprises, although I cannot tell that Chelsea is complete surprise, Everton surely is, I had them 2:1, and expected a win, to maintain fight for CL, now we are loosing steam, and Chelsea is already much ahead for spot four
City deserved a win, Fulham parked their players in their half, but could not survive for 90 minutes in the end

nevertheless, four points so far, not that bad in the pool, had much worse pool weeks
