I guess I will end up with the wooden spoon this week.So far I only have one close result and one result in total.I just saw the predictions of the top of the standings this week and they predicted a lot of upsets.

there is a chance for CL next season through the CL competition, Liverpool has good result from first match in Budapest, and that is close to go through this phase, although this form would hardly bring it to any title
competition for Europa league and Champions league is harsh this season in Premier league, but I hope that Everton will get there at the end, so that would hardly leave place for Liverpool to do the same

West Ham, Tottenham, Chelsea are also looking on that spot, and Leicester is just above

Nah, I really don't see it. We are currently not a team that can challenge for the CL, I'd tip for us to get knocked out in the next round. I wouldn't be surprised even if Leipzig kicks us out - although we really have a good result from the 1st leg.

We have issues that can't be fixed in a week or so, this season is over. We need to keep fighting, sure, but I want us to start preparing for the situation without CL next year as soon as possible. There will be some tough decisions to be made.

yeah, I have put 1:3 in our prediction pool, fast goal by Leipzig and everything changes
on the other hand, a bit off-topic, have put 1:4 in Paris as well, and have a bit more confidence that thing in Paris could actually happen, while I do not believe that much in Leipzig

Two tough games to pick tonight. Both sets of teams might end up cancelling each other out.

It was the same for me. I was going with 2 - 1 for Liverpool but that match finished with 1 - 0. Today we have match against Fulham and again it's in Anfield. These days Anfield scares me and I have gone with another Liverpool win by knowing that we have very high probability of losing again.

Liverpool going to win this one for sure. I mean how bad could Liverpool turn into, its only Fulham though. If it was another team, I would probably go for draw but its Fulham and there is no way Liverpool going to pass this good opportunity for 3 points. Im going for 2-0 for Liverpool and I think Jota might score in this match

Well I was pretty surprised myself. Didn't do great on the others but I'm seeing most didn't back Liverpool or City to lose and at home as well.

I dont think klopp will leave that easily liverpool he got them their first title in 20 + years and a champions league title

Ranieri was sacked. I agree they shouldn't sack him but the culture in football today is to get rid of managers ASAP once they're falling down the table. He's obviously a bigger manager so will likely be given a lot more leeway then say teams facing relegation but how long can this form go on for before the board starts talking?

They will not let Klopp go, this is the first problematic period of his Liverpool tenure so far. I'm more afraid he'll go himself if we don't qualify for CL and the owners start talking about rebuilding rather than going for top players.

Klopp said he was always interested in the Germany national team job, but that he would ideally like it a bit later in his career. I hope we don't drive him away with stupid decisions because the national team will be calling him for sure for Euro 2021.

He'll almost certainly get the Germany job at some point, but yeah, most national team duties tend to be in the twilight years of a managers career.

^  Claudio Ranieri?  Getting the sack a year after winning the league?  I don’t think it’s the same situation as Klopp and Liverpool or Pep and City.  It’s gonna be closer to Chelsea and Tuchel to some extent if they win the league.

And the squad at LCFC knew winning the league was most likely a fluke and they would never have a title run for another couple of decades.  The players who knew they were wanted at bigger clubs def wanted to leave.

For sure they will not fire Klopp after this. The season was already very worse. Still, you have to justify his position as manager.

Well, we lost Van Dijk & Gomez (our first choice CB pairing) for the whole season in October. We had to move Fabinho (our best defensive midfielder) back to CB, then Matip got injured for the whole season. We lost Jota &
Thiago for 3-4 months. Klopp’s Mother died, Alisson’s Father died, Henderson has been missing for long periods. I’ve never seen us have an injury crisis like this.

We shouldn’t be losing to teams like Burnley, Everton & Fulham at home, it hasn’t been good enough but you can see the recipe of disaster above. Nothing has gone right & we are having the worst season I can remember. No team could cope with these injuries. Last season Man City said losing Laporte to an ACL meant they could not win the title. Well Liverpool’s injuries are ten times worse.

Liverpool rely on passion & atmosphere from the crowd more than most teams Klopp, for example would we have beaten Barcelona 4-0 in an empty Anfield, no chance.

Klopp will not be sacked, we will be back & better next season.

What a terrible round for me after getting 20+ points last round! I did not realize I did not put picks in,,, so the pool picked default picks, which luckily gave me 3 points instead of zero. Kudos to those who picked exact scores on Wolves, nobody got any points from Fulham!

Sometimes when a change of technical director occurs in a team it is difficult for the players to adapt to it, if a team loses to a weaker team, they may have internal problems and yes, the technical director must fix it, Klopp is fine, but the club should give him an ultimatum, if there are no good results he should go and think of another good coach, Liverpool is a team of respect, I have always liked the way they have to make a counterattack, they are very fast but I have not seen what more explosion the players.

it would be a big mistake to fire Klopp. He is one of the best managers and certainly has enough trust credit. But he also has to make some changes, it was visible at the end of last season even after the lockdown ends. I was surprised he didn’t significantly refresh the team. Although a similar situation has passed and in Dortmund.
He signs Thiago which did not bring significant improvement, also sold Lovren which would now be very useful.
About injuries, yes it must be admitted that they were not so lucky. Even the debacle against Villa is much before all injuries and dies.
Also, the attack does not work, they did not score at Enfield in the last six games (expect penalty against Man. City).

yeah, seems that there is a lot of interest during match days, and their site is nearly down when there is several matches in several leagues playing in the same time (Saturday and Sunday evening), and it has to be due to their site, my net is mostly the same all the time, and in these pick hours, Superbru goes down

expected more from Everton in London, but own goal in the beginning and it was all down, would not call play, since there was not any from Everton last afternoon
was good at standings prior to these two, tried with 1:1 mess up on Chelsea and 2:1 on West Ham, so nothing good in the end

They have weak servers and they always end up down or working very slow at the moment when a lot of games finishes or last game of the week in PL has just been played. I just check my results a couple of hours later or during the game if I am really curious

I know this is supposed to be a mantra we're saying to ourselves currently, but what I'm afraid of is that this is something that will cost us dearly.

If we end up with EL spot, we will have to keep 20+ players on contracts, we'll miss CL revenue and will probably have to sell 1 star player (Salah?) in order to have money for new VVD&Henderson contracts.
If we don't get even the EL spor, we're in much bigger problems. We will have to cut the team to ~17 players, and some of our players will be hard to sell due to high wages. Without EL we're even worse with revenue so for sure one of our star players leaves.

I really don't want to be the bad prophet but I can see FSG saying 'f**k this, time to sell', and then we're in another rebuilding phase. That was caused by 2 months of utterly crap performances.

Our core players are getting old, they are on big contracts and we have some really tough choices to make. All of that without CL revenue, maybe even without EL revenue. I can't stop feeling so fucking angry, I can't even explain.

Only one standing worse at the moment is Steve Bruce. Possible replacements, listed from most likely to least: Gerrard, Nagelsmann, Marco Rose, Pep Lijnders and Max Alegri

I really don't see how sacking Klopp could help Liverpool in the long run so hopefully the board has not lost it completely.

More bad news for LFC supporters wanting to keep Klopp. Jugi Low will leave German National team after Euro this summer. That kind of job offer could tempt Klopp to leave Anfield especially if results are not good or he gets a lot of a bad press.

I think Klopp is safe, our owners are tight AF any way & I assume it’d cost a lot to sack Klopp whilst he is under contract. I mean we have the worst injury crisis I’ve ever seen in football & they spent £2,000,000 to fix it (pathetic). I don’t think they would spend a load of money sacking Klopp.

We should have invested heavily after winning the CL & PL & we wouldn’t be in this mess.
