Liverpool are going to win the league again, this year is our year. Nah, but seriously I think Liverpool are being underestimated because they haven't made any signings yet apart from Konate, who's an excellent addition by the way. Although, the existing team is brilliant, and while Robertson might be out for a few weeks, his replacement is actually pretty decent.

Having the fans back is a benefit for most clubs, but we've got a few players which absolutely thrive on the atmosphere, Firminho being the most obvious one to me. I think we'll be back with a bang, after a terrible season last season, despite rescuing it a little towards the end.

Yeah, its a good idea. It's probably the best way of doing it, but I'm absolutely awful for remembering every game that goes on. I only really follow a couple of teams in the leagues, mainly Liverpool, and the welsh teams in the lower leagues. Its not ideal that I'm predicting in advance, but we will see how it goes.

Realistically, you could probably consider my entry as a donation , because its extremely unlikely that I remember to update them frequently, obviously I'm going into this with the aim to win that pot, and not an actual donation, but as with any betting man, I'm probably kidding myself.

It's the best way when you have the time, but I have to be honest I'll be just shooting randomly most of the time with at least 3 pools all over and all of them overlapping:)

It can also be a good idea to fill in all the results way ahead of time and then as they approach make changes as and when there is enough time.

I haven't won anything in all these pools last season so yes, I might be making a donation:)

Already wrote it somewhere couple of months ago but it is worth mentioning again.

Fans will be boost for all home sides but I feel clubs like Liverpool and Dortmund will feel it the most. That kind of atmosphere isn't something you can buy with money and I feel like no supporters last year was actually 10 points handicap in favor of City when compered with LFC before the season even started.

^  I got no gamble for the pool this season.  I honestly lost a huge chunk making dumb bets which I blame to the ‘covid era’ and got margin called a couple of times from the huge sell down in the market a couple or so months ago.  So gambling anything above 50 bucks for me is no bueno.  Give me time to recover.    All BTC’s I have left I’m taking to ride the final leg of the bull market.

Not that one, I am also thinking Brentford stays up, I even have Toney in my Fantasy squad. We can make a bet on top scorer this season or maybe on who finishes higher.  City is first favorite but I see Liverpool and Chelsea are priced at the same level, how about we make that our bet?

Or if you want relegation I am thinking Norwich and Watford will be relegated. Lets choose something with even odds, easier to bet that way.

I am saying top 4 teams will be City, LFC, United and Chelsea, if you believe one of them is not gonna finish in top 4 we can make a bet a about that as well.

Well that might be fair enough if you weren't trying to make other bets here haha. Get someone to make a bet with you for the entry fee and they pay it now for you. It's not like you can chase your loses with this pool.

Hail, hail, Liverpool is completely under the radar this season, which I honestly love. They're also only 56/10 to win the Prem League (slightly worse off than Chelski) so I'm very happy with that as last season we were not even 3/1 and that didn't sit well with me, hate being the favourites ha.

Everyone else has got plenty of signings to show off but I'm backing Bobby and Mane to improve their form, we'll have a real defence back in place, Trent and Robbo also to make up for a bad start last season, Jota and the rest to up their games, Salah as usual a masterpiece of form and class.

I need to find someone else to love...

Let's hope the new kids in EPL and Arsenal both give us a cracking good time! Hard to top last season's 4-3 opener;)

I was able to put in my pick before the start of the game, not as if it's going to matter anyway since Arsenal has chosen to start woefully from they stopped the previous season...

And we are at a good start from arsenal as 40 participants alongside me thought that Arsenal going to be victorious against newly promoted team Brentford.
Funny thing that Brentford is hosting their first premier league game and in all teams in London history they never win their first game in the EPL. As they are kicking them 2-0 now
So Arsenal is making history again.
I think they are definitely going to finish outside top8 this year

Congratulations to all Arsenal fans on an epic loss, do not despair, the whole season is still ahead, so there are still many losses ahead!  + I am also satisfied with this result ... since I took third place! I haven't earned any points, but I feel divine!

New season, same old Arsenal, you can always count on them to play like shit away from home. Granted they were missing Auba and Lacazete so some problems in attack should have been expected but it was their defense that let them down this time around. They looked comical in couple of situations. I liked Smith-Rowe and Tierney from Arsenal today, rest of the team was nowhere to be seen. Toney is a beast in the air and Mbeumo looks like serious trouble to contain when he has ball in his feet. Looking forward to see more from Brentford.

I was sure Brentford is gonna score so I picked both to score for this game and then Arsenal goes and ruins my 5x multi.
