Perhaps the most beautiful game of the season so far, a very exciting draw between Liverpool and Manchester City.
The truth is that Salah is amazing this season, not only the story of the goal, the dribbling or the assist, but his personality, the way he played and his remarkable brilliance for a while make me assure that he wants more than the Premier League top scorer title in the next. City is a highly respected team with Guardiola, organized and committed, and as usual, Bernardo Silva presents great levels in the big matches, but the team also lacks the decisive factor in the last attacking third.
A number 9 in January for City is more like compulsion, not a choice. In the end, a point is better than nothing for both teams.

Then again, my advice might be complete rubbish as I've only managed to get 6 or so points last round.

Then again, my advice might be complete rubbish as I've only managed to get 6 or so points last round. 

I think Newcastle cannot do much until January when transfer window for new players is open.For the moment who ever buys them cannot do anything as they can't mix the players right now,only when they will be able to transfer new players so they can improve the quality of the team overall.

However the owner just made double of the amount he bought them Newcastle some years ago with this deal so for him I don't think he will be that sorry that he sold the club.

Just read about Oldham now fighting for their life in League Two -- really sad story. If they drop out, they will play in non-league football, ending over 100 years in England professional leagues. I didn't even remember they were a founding member of the Premier League. Beat Villa on the last day of 1993 season, preventing them from taking the title, and giving it Fergie his first ever title with Manchester United. Damn you, Oldham! Get back in there.

Just read some stuff about Newcastle takeover. Damn those guys are rich, they have 14 times more money then City owners. They have 50 times more money than PSG owners. They also have 3 times more money than all the rest of top 10 richest club owners combined. Can't put the link to the article since I read it on friends mobile but I believe I remembered the numbers correctly.

They also have good financial situation at the club which gives them ability to immediately spend 200M without breaking FFP caps. Newcastle will be the driving force in January transfer window for sure.

it is not like that, PCP Capital Partners (from Abu Dhabi) have minor stake in this takeover (how they will be the owner of Manchester City and Newcastle United, and Barclays as well, it will be up to FA, but they obviously approved the deal) - they will get board member (Amanda from PCP)
Public Investment Fund (PIF) from Saudi Arabia had major stake in this takeover, and they are practically new club owner

Them being bought by new owners shouldn't make any difference until they start splashing the cash which like you said can't happen until Janurary. With that being said, their next game is against Spurs who I can't trust to win right now so not sure who to back. Not sure why Newcastle's fans were celebrating like it's a revolution or something either or are they just excited about the potential of the new owners pumping money into the club after the notoriously tight and cheap Mike Ashley? Not sure how much money they can spend right now either given FIFA financial fair play rules. It's a different climate than when City got bought out and essentially bought themselves glory with the billions they spent. Even if that did happen and Newcastle's fortunes turn around where's the glory in that?

Yup, this is the best possible time for new owners to arrive - a lot of clubs are even finding it hard to extend contracts so a lot of decent players will be available on good deals or even free transfers.
Still, as we have seen a lot of times already - it takes time in football. Top players will still be skipping Newcastle and it will probably take them at least 5 years of heavy investments to start challenging for big things.

I'm glad for Newcastle fans, I've got a soft spot for them. This is good for the league as well.

For me it is too early to place any picks,I will do so Friday night the earliest or Saturday morning the latest.I think Brentford will lose to Chelsea as Chelsea has shown that they are a solid team so far and their loss against Manchester City I think was just bad luck for them.I think the game may end with a minimal win for Chelsea but last week we saw a lot of surprise results in the Premier League so anything can happen here.

I don't see Brentford causing Chelsea too much trouble, even though they've been a revelational team so far this season, I'm going to be of the opinion that the momentum would drop along the season. it might not be an easy win for the blues, especially just coming back from the International the teams with lesser players representing their national team are always having a slight advantage imo.

There is not just fatigue from internationals in play here, couple of Chelsea players also returned with small injuries. It is not certain that Lukaku and Rudiger will be able to play this game. They are important parts of Chelsea team and while they will manage to sub Rudiger I feel like Chelsea can't replace Lukaku and what he is doing for the team. Will be waiting for news before picking my scores.

Thanks for the correction, apparently PCP tried to buy out Liverpool in 2008 as well (not sure what happened to make the deal fall through though).

But it kind of feels like Amanda Stavely is running the show at Newcastle now, I'm not hearing any news about PIF making club decisions which I think is good news - I think they should just be pumping money and keep themselves away from nitty gritty club details as much as possible with the reputation they have.

I thought the same about Brentford in all the matches they played so far in this season. But look what they have achieved so far!

Won against West Ham in the away match
A 3 - 3 draws again Liverpool
Wolves did not do much against then, won the away match by 0 - 2
Win against Arsenal.

Brentford are doing well and they are to get something in this season.

Manchester United announced today, Tuesday, that defender Raphael Varane will be out for a period after injuring his groin while playing for his country, France. He replaced the 28-year-old Varane in the first half of the Nations League final against Spain. France won the title after winning 2-1.
The club said Varane had a thigh muscle injury and had begun rehabilitation at the club. He revealed that the defender, who arrived from Real Madrid last summer, will be out of action for a few weeks.
Varane's partner, Harry Maguire, is recovering from a calf injury, which caused him to miss his team's last two games before the international period, as well as England's World Cup qualifiers this month.
So we are going to expect to see goals scored against Manchester United as it will be a difficult to keep cleans sheets with Bailey and Lindelov as pair in defense.

Are you getting news from fantasy too? 

To be honest, I don't see much of a problem even if Werner replaces the Lukaku for a couple of games, given that Chelsea has 5 or 6 low-stress games ahead, (including two upcoming games against Malmö). The same is the case with the defenders, not to mention that Rudiger is not the only nugget at Chelsea (Christensen, Alonso, Azpilicueta will be able to play in the upcoming matches without straining until Rudiger returns).

Let's be realistic and not think about what we cannot change, but just enjoy the good news ... at least for now. By the way, as far as I understand, a clause was included in the agreement that none of the political leadership or the leadership of the Saudi Arabia Foundation will have the opportunity to put pressure on the leadership of Newcastle. Correct me if I am wrong.
