I'm sorry even though it would have ruined by accumulator Everton have played brilliantly, and I think that hand ball late in the match by Manchester City was absolutely a penalty for Everton. I was sweating during the call, but ultimately I disagree with the refs decision despite it helping me with the accumulator. Anyway, this game was anything, but comfortable to watch, however that's why I bet since it creates that much needed tension when your watching teams like Man City, and Everton Wink.

The most blatantly obvious pen there is not given by VAR this season. Rodri's hand is in an unnatural position, at 45 degrees makes contact with the ball, it's a pen, period. A bad look for the league and the refs as a whole imo, you simply cannot overlook something like this. City needs to be helped in any way they can now that their lead at the top is only 3 points or so, huh!

i expect them to go 0W-4L here, big question mark on Tottenham cos this team is very unpredictable, but United shit the bed against Burnley and Watford, so.... either way, it's really hard to not bet against a team in such bad form, painful to watch Ronaldo & co playing like this

Yeah, it was a clear penalty and I can't believe it was not given. Our local commentator said that Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder would have seen and called that Smiley Worked good for my ticket but this VAR calls are getting ridiculous.

Did you guys see how VAR disallowed Zenit goal against Betis in Europa League? Check it out if you did not, really curios if anybody agrees with that decision. I would let that goal stand every time.

As much as I hate Manchester United now for ruining a lot of bets during 2022 for me I still fear them against big teams, against Tottenham they can win and maybe they can make a surprise in the derby that would completely re open the Premier League not that is not open but would make it even more unpredictable until the end,and maybe Cristiano makes them win against Atletico Madrid but I am sure they cannot win against Liverpool so for me is 1 D with City,2 W with Tottenham and Atletico and 1 L with Liverpool.

Manchester City suffered a lot and only manage to score right now in the 83th minute,Everton was playing well and trying to get one point off the leaders and why not making it extremely open if they managed to get that draw, there is still time for them to get this monumental task it would look right now.I didn't expect Brighton to lose and the biggest surprise of tonight games was undoubtedly Manchester United not being able to win against one of the teams with the worst defense in the league, they should not get any place in any European competition for the next year, they have made so many upsets during these few months of 2022.
I watched the whole match and I felt like Everton were the team who deserved at least a draw if not win. They played better compared to City. It was an unfortunate mistake from Everton defender that  Foden scored. However I was thinking City will have a very easy win after the struggle against Tottenham. My assumption was they will go all attack and score as many as they could. That's way I changed my pick from 0 - 2 for City to 0 - 4. I was wrong LOL.

Anyone knows why Chelsea vs Leicester postponed?

I've always said I'd love to have Son here at Liverpool, fantastic player which I'm surprised Spurs have been able to keep a hold of. I actually think despite Kane being a decent player, I think Son complements him in such a way, that I think he would struggle in other teams without him. I'll be honest I was slightly worried about Man City getting Kane, but I do think he wouldn't have the same effectiveness without Son going with him.

@buway @Welsh I totally understand the hate for a team in the same city. I do not even live or go near London but I hate Arsenal for no reason (I have to tolerate them for Sportsbet  Grin ). It is the way football is and I never feel nice to see people using scarves with both teams on it. So feel free to hate Everton!
I'm all for unity between the fans, I think there's a difference of hatred, and rivalry. However, I've seen a few Liverpool fans suggest they pity Everton, I definitely do not when it comes to their league position. We are rivals, we are suppose to banter each other. Although, I think it goes without saying if I was offered the league title or Everton getting relegated, I'd obviously prefer the league title. I'm not obsessed with Everton's demise, it would just be hilarious if they did get relegated, especially with the players they have at their disposal. They're by no means a bad team, they're just going through a rough spot.

Besides, I'd expect any Everton fan wanting to see us go through a rough patch again, and for a few decades bar a few competition wins sprinkled in, we've been pretty bad at times to watch. I remember when we had Voronin, and N'goo leading our lines, those were the days.

I totally get you. I know we have St Totteringham which is what every Arsenal fan supposedly dream of, but I cannot think of any football team whose main objective is to topple their rival before getting to a title or objective themselves. Getting both is a nice bonus Smiley

I guess I used the word hate a bit wrong,,, I can still cheer for Sportsbet big time it is not like I would throw stones and injure players like always happens, but you are so right, without rivalry, there is no fun. So it does seem weird for football teams who are rivals to be supporting each other's side in FOOTBALL results. Things like uniting behind racism and war, that is not about football rivalry.

Voronin I remember the name but the other guy I totally do not.

We always had good people at front but we always failed to keep them until now. Berbatov, Bale, then Kane. When I see Salah, I remember Mido  Grin

And you are right about Son, 100%. I think Kane is magnificent for sure, but he is more replacable than Son. What the South Korean does,,, work rate, enthusiasm, spirit. Kane sometimes looks like he is so depressed and it makes the team dispirited but Son is forever positive or angry in a good way and always driving the team. And he loves the club. I am so sure if Kane goes to City and,,, I am prepared to lose him since last season, he would struggle but Son will continue to be great as long as they get a striker at least one or two steps below Kane's finishing.

Because Chelsea plays League Cup final against Liverpool today. I expected you as big red supporter to know that Smiley
Same reason why Liverpool - Arsenal is postponed as well.

Trofo, morvillz, Welsh, I don't normally call out for any conspiracies either but that Rodrigo handball. I initially thought they got away with it, but when ref called for VAR I thought, ah great, finally. Now he can't possibly not give it. And then, according to my stream, foreign language, but I guess everyone says "offside", that was the reason given (PL clarified no offside), and the ref gave a freekick at that point too... so I don't know how anything makes sense because pre-VAR, post-VAR, no VAR, that's a penalty all day for me. Lucky bastards.

Premier League explanation: Premier League clarify that the VAR team didn't think there was conclusive evidence that the ball hit Rodri more in the red area of the arm than the green.

Anyway, moving on. It's not going to matter. United meet City and I've also found this tie to be highly profitable, given how bookies put odds out on form. United love to win THAT rivalry, and it's a beautiful 10/1 price right now. If you like the draw, it's even 5/1. And even if they lose THAT it doesn't matter cause we'll meet them in April and remind them to stop trying to draw all our games haha.

@leea St Totteringham's day. You guys should get your act together and find a different celebration in this period against the Gooners.

Anyone knows why Chelsea vs Leicester postponed?
Because Chelsea plays League Cup final against Liverpool today. I expected you as big red supporter to know that Smiley
Same reason why Liverpool - Arsenal is postponed as well.

Come on Pamoldar, you've been slipping up a lot I've been noticing. Stop fooling around and support your team proper =p You can pay penance by betting big on Liverpool today. 3/1++ it doesn't get much better.

Man United fucked my acca up yesterday. Nobody backed the draw and only one person went with an away win.

What is the deal in Brighton, snow? I see the game is postponed because of traffic problems and should be played a bit later.

Spurs stormed Leeds in first 20 minutes and settled the question of the winner very early on. I just read before the game that Leeds squad is running on average 5 km less then when season started. Very clear stat that shows how tired the team is and I can't believe they did not buy some players in January transfer window. They are becoming relegation candidate fast, same as Brentford.

They've had Bamford and Phillips out since early season so that will have made an impact. I think I read a while back that Bamford is one of the players that covers the most ground. Bielsa was sacked this morning. Don't see the point in it. They'll get relegated with or without him but should have given him the chance to try save them at least. Last season people called him a tactical genius but this season he's tactically inept? Not sure what he's meant to do with half their best players out. This is a similar situation to Ranieri at Leicester. Does something remarkable and then the next season they get rid as soon as it's looking glum. Leeds' owners were begging him to stay and re-sign last season. I really hate this culture of sacking managers as soon as things get dicey. Most managers don't even get the chance to make an impact. I don't even think Leeds have been playing that bad despite the stuffings they've been getting. They've been pretty unlucky really. Hit the woodwork twice in the Spurs game and probably should have had a couple of penalties. Those those things go your way and it's a different result. Similar situation in the Everton game where I think Rodrigo hit the crossbar twice (or maybe one of them was in another match but the point still stands that they've been pretty unlucky). I think they're more likely to get relegated without Bielsa than getting someone else in so it seems kinda futile to me.

Yeah, I hate modern day football, actually pretty much any large scale business, it's just ruthless. While, I probably wouldn't  go to the lengths of calling him a tactical genius, I think that's just media sensationalism, he was a decent manager, probably managing at the level that suits him best, and I think his tactics suited Leeds. There aren't many other managers out there that would be interested in coming to Leeds, while still being on the same level as Bielsa.

They haven't been playing bad at all, they've just been lacking in a few key areas, and recently they've come up against some pretty decent sides which has made it look worse than it is. I have no doubt once they have their full team back they'll be playing exciting football again. They've never been a team known for their defensive capabilities, but rather their attacking football, hence why they're so popular from a neutral point of view.

Its not like they aren't playing at the level expected, when they finished mid table that was a shock, that wasn't their natural level, and it was always going to be that teams adjusted to their attacking style, that's what the Premier League is all about. So, I always expected them to struggle a little more compared to that season. I'm not sure what the entitlement is form the board expecting that they have to perform to that level every season.

Well I wouldn't call him one either, but I don't think I'd call any manager a genius. I know a lot of highly respected managers like Poch and Guardiola rank him among the best though and a lot of managers seem to sing his praises, but a manager is only as good as the players he's got on the pitch. I think people put too much faith in managers and they're certainly an easy scapegoat when things go wrong. Always annoys me when people hype up managers and the only teams they've managed are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Go to a minnow club and achieve something with them then we'll discuss world class managers.

And yeah, money ruins everything. I wonder how much Leeds' potential takeover by 49ers Enterprises had in play of sacking Bielsa. They were looking to fully buy out the club but that would very likely change if they get relegated so maybe there was a lot of pressure there. Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta were always singing Bielsa's praises and were praying he'd re-sign for the this season but now they get rid as soon as they start to feel the heat? I honestly don't know what they hope to achieve by sacking him. Is someone going to come in and revitalise the squad? I doubt it. Like you said, they've had a tough month and are missing a lot of key players. They're almost certainly going to end up in the relegation zone seeing as two of the teams below them have two games in hand but let Bielsa battle it out. They're playing a lot of struggling teams in the next month or so so they could easily grab some points from those but now whoever is managing them will get the credit if they do so.

Come on Pamoldar, you've been slipping up a lot I've been noticing. Stop fooling around and support your team proper =p You can pay penance by betting big on Liverpool today. 3/1++ it doesn't get much better.

Btw - we did win the Carabao cup final last night. Too bad those 1x2 tickets for LFC lost since the scores were level, and I actually lost $100 on them. But that was the most epic penalty shootout I've seen since last year's Europa League final  Smiley

Great!!! I was able to see the penalty shoots. It was tiring but we won.

To be honest with buwaytress I am not following Football much from last few months. And normally I only watch PL and sometimes UCL if Liverpool are playing. Lately I got so many things in hand and had to travel abroad several times. In fact I am not in home right now. Attending in a family function and will be staying for few weeks here. It's different time zone. Just woke up and it's very early morning.

Don't forget we have one Premier League game tonight everyone. Time for me to make some serious damage, going down slowly one position at a time really hurts me!

Always annoys me when people hype up managers and the only teams they've managed are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Go to a minnow club and achieve something with them then we'll discuss world class managers.

I also think sometimes managers are overrated, but at the same time some are underrated. At the end of the day I think managers are best when they are not 100% tacticians because of luck in football (to me anyway) but more about instilling the right team spirit and mentality, and management of players. Look at Conte. He did so well at last job Inter but he brought in a lot. Put him at Spurs and he's giving up and wanting to quit lol

Which is why I respect Klopp. Put him at Mainz, put him at BVB and put him at Liverpool when they were not at Champions League level and he took them to today. Identifying "cheap" players and making them superstars.

And that is why I arguably thought Wenger was the best in EPL. For doing the same thing for years and years. People always say Ferguson but he had galacticos in his squad. He should win!

This I believe could be Bielsa's problem also. He doesn't speak English much I understand and that's very difficult to manage an English team with a lot of British players. That's my take on it.

We have one game tonight, Burnley - Leicester, don't forget to put your predictions in. If this was played 2 months ago I would have placed big bet on Leicester but they have injury and form problems while Burnley had a nice transfer window and started to play much better. I actually think Burnley is closer to winning tonight but my bet goes on both to score. Leicester has one of the worst defenses this season and they should be able to score something as well.

Brendan Rodgers just one of many... Tuchel, Conte all not sleeping well trying to figure out what's wrong with their respective teams. A few weeks ago, add Benitez and Ranieri to that.

I'm still sticking with a Foxes win on predictions but at the odds given, seems like a waste of money. Think you called well on Burnley's new acquisitions, Trofo, that Weghorst guy I've only seen a couple of games from him but he's a great replacement for Wood.

@Welsh, LFC_Bitcoin, hilariousandco: was saying how teams just seem to lie down and give up against City, and Pep himself's just confirmed this, naming, with some difficulty, the only teams that attack them in the league: Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds, no surprise but Villa and Brighton also get the nod haha.

I thought I missed the chance to put in my prediction but I just saw I had Leicester to win 2-1, I probably put over the weekend or something. If I had done the prediction today, I would have gone for a draw 1-1, I think.

Leicester have started quite  well but then it was all VAR to the rescue, otherwise Leicester would have been a goal behind by now.

This game is one of those that was postponed due to covid cases so you probably put your prediction in a long time ago when it was originally scheduled Smiley
I had 2:1 for Foxes and changed it to 1:1, does not seem like a good decision since Leicester was much better team tonight. Still a few minutes left for Burnley to do something, keeping my fingers crossed.

Bloody Leicester, I had a few bets I had them to draw with Burnley 0-0, and Tottenham to draw 0-0 in the FA cup. Plus, I then had a few champions league games. It was looking so promising until they messed it up. I wasn't convinced they deserved it either. Although, I only caught a little bit of the second half.

Even the refs recently....nah I'm not that bitter, I swear. The thing is I do think a lot of teams end up sitting back against them which plays into their type of players perfectly, it's when teams attack Man City that they start having problems. I don't know what it's whether it's fear or what, but teams just sit back against the better teams. We have it a lot, and we can sometimes struggle to break that down. However, Manchester City have different types of players which can break it down much easier.

Despite that, they've been really struggling recently. Even tonight in the FA cup, Pep names a full strength side, and yeah they end up winning it 2-0, however they looked as bad as a 2-0 win with dominant possession can get you. They looked awful considering the statistics against a lower league team, that's struggling to stay in their current league.

I had 2:1 for Foxes and changed it to 1:1

did the same mistake
it was better that I did not know that there is a match tonight, would keep 1:2, but had to change Smiley
and put a bet during second half, for both-to-score, it was a tempting @4 on half-time

Leicester and Tottenham, I should skip those in betting
