For the past few weeks, I haven't been locking my pick so I can't see others. But I just have to ask, how have your heart been performing so far in regards to giving you results for the pool? Thinking of returning to following my heart and not basing my prediction on previous records. The last two times I followed my heart, it give me the cap twice lol. Been over cautious lately is just costly me points. That's why I'm sticking to my pick.
For the MOU match, initially I went for a draw but after picking other outcomes for the rest matches I noticed, i got so many draw matches then retured to give Sheffield United the advantage since I was debating between a win or draw in that game. But if your mou meant Mourinho, he's definitely what Tottenham needs right now because they need trophies and Pochettino wasn't delivery in that aspect. He blew the only chance they had against liverpool (champions league finals).
The table doesn't lie: My heart's picks have overall led me to lose more points than gaining.
Sure, I can be the only guy getting 3 points when everybody gets none. But more often that not, I get 1.5 or 1 point, but then everyone else more than makes up for it by getting 1/1.5 when results, more often than not, goes the way of bookies.
I would say the format of 1/1.5/3 points doesn't quite reward you to make bold predictions. But that's superbru, so I don't mind, I still like gunning for the weekly consolations!
But it has led to me winning good money in betting, so I'm happy, I still see this pool as a sort of hedge, and you just never know those crazy picks could actually lead me to win the actual Superbru prize HAHA.
Anyway, I am not changing my picks, but I am betting on a pretty huge parlay of away wins, including Mourinho, who always gets his first win with a new team!
@cryptofrka: Lovely read and you know what? I'm always the guy who believes in hard work. And that's what you got to love about Liverpool. This is a team of talents for sure, but it was all brought out of hard work! I always saw myself in them a little;)
Look at Klopp getting quoted: “Boys, boys, boys!” he says, “We are not the best team in the world. Now you know that. Maybe they are! Who cares? Who cares! We can still beat the best team in the world. Let’s go again.”
Fan-bloody-tastic!
@DeathAngel lols yeah my favourite memory is of him charging down City defenders, them panicking and passing all the way back to Edersen. I guess it's everyone's fav but man!
