I'm wondering your thoughts about this betslip. The Adana Demirspor match which was the one I was afraid of the most has been left behind. I trust the remaining 4 Premier League matches very much as well. Even though Virgil van Dijk's being suspended at Liverpool and the individual mistakes the team make in defense line make me scared, their amazing comeback against Newcastle with 10 players last week impressed me very much.

I was thinking that Chelsea would defeat Forest in Stamford Bridge. However Chelsea lost last Saturday. I didn't like anyone except Enzo. At Chelsea Nicolas Jackson can be the worst forward in the Premier League about finishing. He missed empty net on the chance Sterling prepared. I decided to add Chelsea to my blacklist this year.

No thanks, you cannot let the rest of us have nice things. I was almost certain I was going to win the Yellow cap when Declan Rice's strike went in, only to be undone by the late late goal.

It was another dramatic matchweek to see us into the international break. A great time to pick up a victory and leave on a high and a terrible time to lose, but it allows some teams a breather to pick up their form.

It is the game and congratulations on your YC, two in a row is very impressive. I am hopeful for the next round and hope I can make it into the top ten at the end of it.

Much as you want to hate City, and point to their depth and money, I begrudgingly agree with Ige: Pep knows what he's doing. You can have all the money and talents but it guarantees nothing without the right architect. Chelsea and Everton prove this. Newcastle probably understands this, hence not splashing out.

I really would like to see Pep managing a team with financial limits, though. Say, like Spurs?

It's a dream to have a club that sanctions a manager to get the talents he needs, and give him full focus on tactics. Klopp used to have that, but since we lost Edwards and Ward, we have (all due respect) a far inferior replacement (some retired German GK) so now he is forced to assist with acquisition and so no longer has talent brains helping out, and we suffer because he has less time now to enforce his ideas.

Liverpool doing the job much easier than expected today but I sort of think this is more about Aston Villa. Still very small sample size but it seems to me that Villa will be excellent against smaller clubs and then loose big against stronger ones. They were nowhere against Newcastle in second half, they are really poor today and in between they destroyed weaker opposition.

Could have been even better for LFC today if Nunez were just a bit more clinical, but he scored last week when it was important. Who cares about today

Hate to say it, but truth. Villa rolled over and respected us too much. Tried from distance, and rushed their shots. The last time I remember them playing a Big Six well was when they were 2-0 up against City on final day 2 seasons ago... they allowed 3 goals after that and I think psychologically never recovered.

Nunez still got 9 points for an assist and I guess bonus points in FPL? I don't mind, either, he loves the post though...

Well I believe that there is a limit to what a coach can do but its Pep though and Spurs is a pretty decent team so probably he could pull it off somehow but all the other teams like Liverpool and Arsenal might stand in his way to win with Spurs

Brighton is the only club that could cause Manchester City problems this season; they are the only complete team after Man City that knows how to attack and take chances. It's shocking how Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea couldn't find a way to compete with this City team. It's only four games, and Manchester United and Chelsea, who are expected to fight for the title, are already 6 and 8 points behind City. The gap in team quality between City and other clubs is simply too big; only Arsenal comes close.

And the fact they did that after losing not only many players every season, but even manager... makes you wonder if managers really are the answer. Maybe its simply club training as a whole or recruitment policy?

I'm currently sitting at 35th position after 4 games - I didn't touch down this low through out last season. Lol

I'm not really sure he would do well in our current Barca though, unless he doesn't mind taking over young squad and building from there with much more financial restrictions than before. Our future direction is also not clear. We sent out Ansu Fati which then again City also does from time to time.

But yes, systems of clubs feel more important in modern football not so much manager anymore I feel.

Guardiola was lucky to start from the top team and never even try the average level. I don't think we will ever see him in a regular team, rather he will retire. And I don't see anything outstanding in his track record. He only gave results that corresponded to the level of the team (by the way, not always, like with Bayern, for example), but in order to become a legend (and not just a statistical record on Wikipedia), you need to jump above your head.

People tend to ignore consistency like that is what is expected from bug teams, but not all top coaches achieve that and none have done it at the level that Guardiola has done, while introducing a beautiful style of play that other clubs struggle to compete against.

Greatness is expected from Barcelona, but since Pep left they have fallen short of that far too many times. Manchester City were nothing close to the unplayable team they are today and that is due to the genius of Pep Guardiola.

I also think that what Manchester City has achieved is in big part (70%) for me Guardiola merit.Another big merit is the group management who is managing Manchester City as they have given Guardiola more than enough time to implement his style of play into this team and on top of that they have usually complied with what Guardiola have asked them regarding players to buy and to sell,so it is this duo that has brought Manchester City this far and I doubt they will stop anytime soon,these people I am sure are hungry for more.

The Spanish national team also ceased to be that fury when the golden generation left (which, by the way, was brought together in Barcelona not by Guardiola but by Rijkaard). What do you think about the failure with Bayern? The one that Jupe Heikens put together and that won the Champions League, and then was beaten by Spanish teams three times in a row (when the coach was Guardiola). City were champions of England before Guardiola and will be after, nothing interesting. The Champions League after so many attempts and with the acquisition of Haaland also looks weak.

I think the last time I won anything from sportbets was from your MM or so, and it's been a long time. Southampton jerseys are usually lovely, and I hope to win this one. I've come close in the past, and I hope to get it right this time.

Back to the EPL - I won't lie, I didn't see more than three matches during the international break because the fixtures were dreadful. I'm simply pleased about the return of club football; I'm not excited about my club returning to spoil my weekends.
