2 weeks ago, City started the match week and won 5-1, Liverpool followed and lost and then Arsenal did. No, Arsenal won 5-0, Liverpool just followed with a loss, anything could happen tomorrow at Brighton.

Great game from Everton, huge 3 points in the battle to stay in the Premier league, they always find a way to avoid relegation. Liverpool look to have run out of the "give-Klopp-a -dramatic-finish" juice which pushed them on for much of the season.

Another horrible LFC performance, this loss basically marks the end of the season for us. We've been below average for a month or 2, so it was just a matter of time.

Really a shame to end the Klopp era like this, I wanted to be in the fight for a trophy at the end of the season. We look so tired and out of ideas, and we can't score sitters if our lives depended on it.

If it weren’t for the 8-point penalty, Everton would be practically in the middle of the standings; they are not weak at all compared to the clubs that are fighting for survival. Another thing is that I did not expect that they would be able to beat Liverpool and bury their chances for the title. Thank God I refrained from placing a bet, for general reasons it looked reliable (Liverpool should not have lost for the third time in 5 games).
Newcastle also surprised today and allowed United to overtake them, lol. And yes, judging by how the game went, it was still the same crap, even if we ended up with three points.

With an extra 8 points they will be above 40 points, this is used as an assurance point for any team to stay up in the league, easily 13th or 14th in the league. They are 8 points away from the drop zone with 4 games to play and the wind in their sales. They also play 3 of the teams in and around the relegation battle, must win matches for everyone involved.

I don't think anyone can get more than 6. Who would say Everton would beat Liverpool for first time since David Moyes? And Newcastle losing after being so good in recent games?

It's a very sad way to end Klopp reign. Kinda similar to Xavi reign except you guys get to earn one small trophy and Xavi is looking like they want him to change his mind.

I love midweeks games, i feel like they made the week more easy to carry until the weekend reach.

Everton Liverpool is gonna be a high emotional game, not only for the derby itself, but because Everton needs the points in the fight for relegation and Liverpool need the points for the title fight.

And we have the most shit team in the league, Crystal Palace playing today, what a unpredictable team they are. I really hate them.

Doesnt age well for me.... But i was in the correct, what a shit is Crystal Palace always destroying my predictions.

About Everton Liverpool derby, that was not what i expect , i was expecting a super ahrd game for Liverpool and them winning for a little amrgin, in the worst case a draw but i never expect a lose for them.

Even most of the pool backed Liverpool to win though except for 1 player. Kinda surprising that someone would pick Everton especially after Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace, its really hard to even picture that they would lose another one pretty fast

I guess its pretty safe to even say that they are already out of the relegation though. 3 of their 4 remaining fixtures are against Brentford, Luton and Sheffield so as long as they could get 4 points out of those 3 games or 4 games ( against Arsenal ) then they should be safe from the relegation zone. Its 2 remaining spot on relegation because Sheffield is pretty much not gonna make it with only 16 points as of now

Brighton have failed to hold City and with their remaining run of fixtures it is difficult to see a team that will, except Tottenham. It will be ironic if we can beat Tottenham and they take points from City potentially giving Arsenal the league.

Brighton have done themselves no favors tonight, nothing like the team that drew with City at home last season at a similar point. Sure there have been injuries and the second goal was not a freekick, but they were not just competitive tonight at all.

Slot is really an unexpected signing. Nobody saw it coming and I'm really not sure what to think.
I've heard good things from people that watch Eredivisie but it's a whole different environment - it will be a huge step up for him. It was for Klopp coming from Bundesliga, he spoke about it a lot.

Let's be honest, after Klopp there's nobody we'd like. This is now the toughest job in football, especially because some core LFC players are entering their last year of contracts (Dijk, Salah, Trent).

Liverpool just equalized and it looks like they have come with a much different mentality in the field in the second half,of course nothing changes,they have lost miserably the title fight with those three painful consecutive lost games including that one that knocked them out of Europe which impacted them this bad as to completely lose it in these games.I think maybe Klopp has said to them in the break that we have not got anything to lose anymore so play like you want and have fun,I see this is as the only impetus to give the players the right psychological motivation to come back and win this game,as I said it will be only for statistical purposes not for much unfortunately.

The pool has also crystallized the big winners while for the last prizes also I don't expect any surprise,we that don't fight for anything only play for a yellow cap.

Yeah pray you don't come across few over valued spoilt kids around £80-£100m in today's market. From Feyenood to Liverpool is a big big step up - can he handle the pressure? This is a discussion for another time..

Agreed - Liverpool and Westham defense were both shit. Who noticed Salah attitude on that Liverpool last counter  dude saw Darwin in a bigger space and decided to move the ball in the middle of the pitch instead of laying the back for Drawin for a potential 1-on-one situation. Competing for the title in two consecutive seasons is not a rebuild, a rebuild is about getting back an identity and a way of playing, being consistent and getting staff, players and fans all on the same track. You can win a trophy and still be rebuilding, Chelsea almost won the F.A cup this season, that would have not changed the fact that your team is still trying to find its feet.

We are all sure that Arsenal will be back again competing for the title next season whatever the outcome is this season, that is not a rebuild. Also, we won the F.A Cup in 2020.

It has kind of been the story of our season, yeah. We create chances often but miss the impossible - both Nunez and Diaz.

Shush now friends, one must eat the cake that was made for him. Maybe Slot sells him, maybe not, but he's all we got, I have to believe in him haha.

Darwin's goals are all really great for highlights reels, nothing like Salah who has maybe 70% of goals just good finishing. I won't forget that he led the tables for Europe's best with the few minutes he had, but yeah his regression seems to be at par with his teammates now.

Liverpool broke a lot of records this season. Most wins from behind, most injury time goals, and most post/bar hits. In all English league history. I do feel that a bit of bad luck played a part, but I always said this was unsustainable. And it finally broke the camel's back.

Your chart does prove that many teams overperformed expected goals though, while we underperformed. We're usually on the other side of that line...
