I keep hearing it everywhere - because there are a lot of people disliking Liverpool. 2 quick searches show a different story though - with Liverpool certainly not among the teams that benefitted from VAR decisions:

Naturally, you'll reject this without any proof from your side, just saying 'it ain't so'.

You just shot yourself in the head without realising it with those links - did you notice how they went 6 times against Arsenal, 0 times in their favour, and 8 times against Chelsea to ensure you won the league?  We both know which club (Liverpool) controls the media outlets.

Statistics don't really tell the whole story, do they?  I watch games, and I don't need Liverpool-backed English pages to tell me otherwise.

That's 6 goals in 3 games. After all, they lost to Crystal Palace in the Super Cup, where the regular time ended with a score of 2-2. By the way, Liverpool also lost the lead twice there.
Maybe a draw with Arsenal would be a good outcome for them. Then they have 3 easy games in a row before the Chelsea game so Slott will have time to fix something.
By the way, bookmakers quickly reacted to Liverpool's uncertain play, now they are rated exactly the same as Arsenal:

Arsenal - 2.75

Liverpool - 2.75

Manchester City - 5.50

Chelsea - 9.00

I really believe like i said Liverpool is not the strong we were expecting this season and they are for sure having luck and a super bad defense, but..... giving them the same odds than Arsenal?

Arsenal is Arsenal so every single odd have to by multiplied by the Arsenal factor which add a ton of uncertainity to every matter.

And last but not less important, Arsenal is not playing good, for example against Manchester United was a disaster.

FFP? We were well within safety to spend 300M. But as of right now, were only 110M (spent 300, brought in 200). It's nett spend that counts in accounting year too, so no, we don't amortise the way Chelsea does.

To be fair the decisions in this game didn't just favour Fulham, Chelsea got lucky this time and VAR helped out alot. Here I was thinking this was going to be an easy win for us with lots of goals but we had to depend on VAR to save our ass (canceling a goal and giving us another). How was that even a penalty but a win is a win. Caicedo masterclass after getting a yellow was the highlight for me. He was covering up Enzo fuckups and holding the midfield locked down. We can't afford to play as poorly as we did in the first half against Brentford or we'll regret it. Tottenham are presently losing, Arsenal and Liverpool to draw tomorrow and we stay top of the table, life is good

Really lucky for United, that was such a stupid penalty to concede. They are defensively one of the worst teams I've seen at this level in a long time.

Looking forward to tomorrow's derby game vs Arsenal, hopefully with Isak and Guehi in the stands as new LFC players. Spend that money John, make the rest of the league explode from jealousy

What a shitty display from Tottenham, beat City last week and had just one tame shot on target this week at home. Bournemouth could have won by more than one goal, but they failed to take their chances.

Burnley were within minutes of a very important point at Old Trafford, but J. Anthony had other ideas, he just had to make sure United won the game, lol. Sometimes i wonder what goes through the head of players, very stupid penalty to give away and let your team down.

Think I want compensation for wasting 90 minutes of my life watching that Leeds vs Newcastle game. What a dull display, Newcastle had no energy after their pulsating effort vs Liverpool on Monday.

Not looking forward to playing Arsenal tomorrow, a win for Liverpool would be huge though, even though it’s so early in the season.

Because you start to feel like it was maybe better to not win so Amorim is sacked, and that is for sure the worst feel ever for a fan of any club.

About you losing a exact score in a very dificult match to predict and when for sure noone is gonna be taking that riskier pick is a super pain to lose it in the final blow.

This is how Liverpool fans felt all this years? It feels good to be backed by PGMOL- I must admit the first decision was stupid, it was accidental foul but I guess VAR fell for Chalobah reactions and the penalty decision was 50-50.

Over to Liverpool and Arsenal tomorrow - a draw and every goes to international break happily.

Really looking forward to the clash against Liverpool. It is very early but winning today to be the only team with a 100% record going into the break will be a major psychological boost for the boys. Would have loved to have Saka in the squad, but this is the nature of the game, it is good to know it was not as serious as previously anticipated. Time for squad depth to show and other players to come to the front, Eze for one I expect to start today.

It will be a good feeling to also remain the only defense to not have let in a goal after today. With Hincapie coming to boost the back-line, that will be another psychological boost.

Winning at Anfield is not something we do often, we have not in a long while, but if you want to win the league you have to win games like this.

I feel the management will back him for at least one more season. Not many top coaches are available at the moment and the cycle of changing managers has to end at some point. Has any of their sacked manager actually gone on to be successful at other clubs after? Ole and Jose were sacked recently, although Jose's exit was reported to be a mutual decision.

True. United fans expect clear progress and convincing 3-0 wins over underdogs. But when they get a painful 3-2 (which looks more like luck), it does not cause any joy at all. It's similar to the same torment that was a year or two ago. United have 4 points from three rounds and a goal difference of 4-4. I've seen this before somewhere   And there's a game with City ahead. Maybe a miracle awaits us there, according to the Tottenham scheme.

I remember this is the feeling under previous manager as well. Do you want to stick with a guy who wins half the games only? I think in some reasons you can see enough to know the manager style and reaction, and if he can get the best out of players.

They scored 1 goal on their own so far. The rest are penalties and own goals. That is not acceptable when they only met Arsenal and 2 bottom half teams.

But I would say even Tottenham shouldn't have lost.

yeah absolutely, Brighton was in command of the second half, also City did come into sight very unsteady & Brajan Gruda (sub) netted a late goal to put together it 2 - 1, so i'm agreed, he should be given more play time.   Also holy hell at Forest, West Ham chalk up three goals late to win it, mistakenly i thought forest own by 3, wtf.. that collapse was really  surprising & crazy.  imo  the late blackout in the forest is a major warning mark & the depth n shape of the city need to be fixed.

So after scoring for 36 consecutive Prem games, Liverpool are finding opportunities very hard to come across in this game. Can't watch it as am on the move, but the xG scores are pretty horrific to stomach haha. On the bright side, weathering setpieces from Arsenal isn't a bad thing. Just probably not so positive at Anfield.

What a win for Liverpool and a goal good enough to win any game. Szoboszlai was immense, playing out of position too.

Arsenal are a good team but Arteta is no negative. If I was an Arsenal fan he would annoy me so much. They have some great players but his style of play is so defensive.

3 wins from 3 and the mighty LFC sit in 1st place as we head into the international break.
