Danger Posed at POS Coins by CryptoDouble

Everyone says they are just a Ponzi Scheme,

What if they are really a Trojan Horse.

A Way to Kill POS Coins by mounting a 51% attack.

A POS Community starts sending their coins to Cryptodouble,
And keeps sending them back until they have 26% of a coin,
CryptoDouble then buys up only another 26% and they then control 52% of the coins total amount, then they could hit the coin with a 51% attack and destroy the coin.

Something all POS Communities should consider before sending POS coins to cryptodouble.
Smarter move would be to only send them POW coins, if you are Gambling with your coins.

 Cool

FYI:
If the Exchange Volumes don't increase , then they already have purchased 26% and are waiting for the communites to give them the rest.

"then they could hit the coin with a 51% attack and destroy the coin."

FYI .. we're trading for 1 Satoshi .. "destroyed" doesn't do it justice ..
Potential for a 51% attack is the least of our problems ..

Triff ..

Danger Posed at POS Coins by CryptoDouble

Launched Dec. 20th.

"Double your coins in just 100 hours with CryptoDouble.  Follow 3 simple steps."

Also, "no fees"

btctalk user cryptodouble has a -17 trust rating.

I'd suggest not sending them any coins.

Trustworthy exchange that offers lot of coins that are underground, but suddenly become big. Most recent example is Gamerscoin.

Comkort seems to be a fairly decently designed exchange. There's not much volume but the trades that I was able to execute worked flawlessly.

NEED MORE VOLUME! YOU CAN TRADE IN FIAT THERE

Is MINT under 1 sat?

such a shame, I remember investing heavily in MINT at the start. I had high hopes that it would take off, it's a shame it hasn't. Sad

that comkort doesn't look too bad  and yes much less for sale on polo Cheesy but cryptsy still has almost 14 btc for sale at 2 sats Sad  thats a pretty big hurdle (i guess that depends on who's looking at it 14 might be huge to me but small to another)

wallet is working great and mints like it should... dang you'd get some nice chunks of mint from pos with even 1 btc worth in a wallet Tongue

Their is a group of individuals forming that plan to intentionally attack POS coins.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=897493.0

And it looks like they have been successful in attacking Apexcoin with an attack.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/apex/

Mintcoin community may want to start preparing a defense to such 51% attacks , in case that groups targets mint in the future.
