Just realized there is a MintCoin Faucet at coinpayments.net. http://explorer.coinpayments.net/index.php?chain=16I don't see a direct link, but you just have to click on faucet at the top. It needs to be funded to start working.

Are you not worried about giving full nodes to friends and family who may not understand basic computer security? I'm guessing the idea is that they would have funds on the portable devices. There's plenty of options for inputs and outputs on these devices. How do you secure the user? This is more of a crypto problem then a mint problem but should be addressed as we want minters to feel secure and confident in their market and personal management of their mints. Finally, shouldn't a mint scented spray be added to every node for ambiance? STAY FRESH. anyone got a guide for putting a Mint node together on a Raspberry Pi? looking to dish out to friends and family
You mean like a mobile phone wallet? Mini monitor, battery solar operated, etc. etc. Mmmmmmmmm. #MintFuture

Good morning! I am still hosting Mintcoin Official and do not mind supporting the funds to do so; however we need an admin to manage the website. Currently it is being attacked by hackers pushing through non-sense comments within the forum - does anyone want to take this admin task on hand?
Also if someone would prefer to host on their server please let me know and I can push the domain over to you.
Thanks! Jessie

Stop Mining. Start Minting. Mintcoin [MINT] 5% annual minting reward. Mintcoins don't wear out like mining gear. They keep on minting!

Yeah mintcoinofficial has been getting attacked for some reason. Not sure why anyone would go to the trouble. Have you tried http://mintymintcoin.com/ yet? It's basically got the same info. It is a good coin. MINT has been around for over 2 years, and has a committed user-base and development. It is a great coin for staking (but we call it minting around here). Let us know if you have any questions. FYI, it takes 20 days for coins to mature on each address to begin minting.

Does anyone know of a Mintcoin block explorer or website that has the actual current total coin supply count? https://coinmarketcap.com/ says the available supply is 23,077,840,377 MINT http://explorer.coinpayments.net/index.php?chain=16 says the supply is 23,454,298,728 MINT The difference between these two supply counts is 376,458,351 MINT which is currently worth about $22,000 USD. But the coinpayments explorer's last block date says 7/31/2016 so that is not up to date either, so anyone know where we can get the actual total supply?

Hey all, just starting to sync my Mint Wallet again from bootstrap (computer crashed and lost 1,000,000 mint coins plus other coins).
My bootstrap sync has been taking 2 days so far and i'm half way through.. does this seem normal or is it going slow.
Seems slow for a bootstrap to me but maybe this is to be expected?
