It's true that the other coin was somewhat premined as can be seen pages 10-20 of your thread and that a bunch of dishonest people are involved in it

That group  rented for 10 days a couple of GHs for this operation.

Blackcoin was not premined but was instamined.

ahh ok I'm still learning some but it's obvious others couldn't mine while some users that are still trying to manipulate people had no problem at all

Yes Mintcoin is a great coin with a great future and a good HONEST community. As for the other coin they even made up all that stuff about multipools being so great the truth is multipools have little effect on price but if something is easy to manipulate then you can use the multipool as a tool to get others to buy. Dont get me wrong I really appreciate what hashco is doing and they seem to be real good honest people

Yup. Don't dare try to say anything along those lines over on their thread though, they will take quick offense. It's a shame new users of coins don't read through the thread and actually learn the history of the coin before they buy into it.

The Blackcoin dev himself is doing that? That is shameful.

If a CEO were to do that, to spread lies about other companies in order to get people to invest in his company, I would immediately sell all my holdings in that CEO's company. Immediately.

Yes it's just run by a group of dishonest scammers. There's even a thread about destroying shitcoins  operation shitcoin or something like that and BC was one of the first coins mentioned

Yep, I think he may have shot himself in the foot on this one. It will be interesting to see how he explains the "time bomb". If I was invested in Blackcoin I would sure like to know what a time bomb is, how it happened, and what will prevent it from happening again.

Thanks in advance.

And I want to state again: rat4 is not attacking mintcoin, but is merely stating a hypothesis about the security of pow/pos coins in general, this does include mintcoin and shacoin for example.

If you open the wallet on the 20th day and leave it open, there's a good chance it will mint that day, if it doesn't, just leave it open until it does mint.

And this is why I sold all my black coin not too long ago. Happy I did.

Not attacking Mintcoin? That is exactly what the Blackcoin developer, rat4, is doing.

Blackcoin is a pure PoS coin, so what business does he have in pointing out security issues with a hybrid PoW/PoS coin? He only made that thread to spread lies and to attack Mintcoin. The Blackcoin developer is dishonest and that is a bad sign. But, what did you expect from Wolong's developer? Wolong is dishonest and so is his developer. Wolong is manipulating the hell out of Blackcoin.

Mintcoin: Get some

Mintcoin is secure. Just wait for your confirmations. Just like with any coin, the more confirmations you get the better, I think Mintpal currently requires 12 confirmations with Mintcoin...Just wait for 15+ confirmations if you are worried about having more security..Mintcoin is really fast, so it doesn't take long anyway. And monitor the blockchain if you are really paranoid, if you think it seems fishy with a lot of PoW in a row, just wait and give it time to get more PoS blocks to get mixed in on the chain. Overall, the security is solid.
