Am indeptly sorry for your loss. The cryptocurrency space is characterised by price volatility and you need to make a decision not to sell at a loss, because technically you're not at loss until you sell. I advise, you hodl on to the altcoin in your portfolio and exercise some patience till the market picks. The best thing to do in a situation of massive loss, is to review your strategy that lead to the loss and endeavor not to thread in such path anymore. Learning is a continuum and experience is the best teacher. I understand it's painful, but life still goes on, and there are better days ahead.
