Our donation page is about 99% done and will be launched in next 24 hours. New wallets will also be launched to accommodate this page. Truckin along I hate to spoil the party, but at current hashrate, once this is on an exchange, and the inevitable addition to coinwarz happens, the mine2dumpers will break the value of this coin down to match or be less than mining BTC... that is just how that particular cycle of this type of coin mining and exchanging goes. IT WILL BE BROUGHT TO AN EQUAL OR LESSER VALUE OF MINING BTC since it runs on the same hardware. Here is the ugly... at currebt hashrate, each TAK is only worth 120 satoshis. That is just a rough calculation based on me getting a 1K TAK payout every ~4.5 hours currently. That yields 5,333 TAK per day on average for me on a 34 GH/s miner. Considering the average return on that on BTC is only 0.0065 BTC per day, you can easily see this will quickly be taken advantage of and TROUNCED. If you want the value to stay where we are all trading it.. which is 0.000025 (2500 satoshis) each, the nethash needs to increase 20 fold. While that is completely feasible once the major announcements are made, be warned that if we do not break ~400 TH/s nethash, you will not see this on the exchange for more than 500 satoshis per TAK and that is my estimate @ 85 TH/s if we can get there. You want this to be valuable and make a big splash for charities... us holders need to PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE! let's face it, there won't be a coin that could be mined particularly profitable. whatever you've done, it will go to the same level with BTC eventually and quickly. the only thing we can do is to mining as much as we can before the tons of asic miners come in.

I disagree that it would be impossible to build a new altcoin that couldn't be mined for value. No one has yet attempted a currency that maintains price stability, or that adds enough unique value that it's worth it even for bitcoiners and litecoiners to make use of it.
Ethereum includes some interesting new techniques for building in contracts and including a Turing-complete programming language with the coin itself.
Is there anything unique or valuable about TakeiCoin?

I would like to work on development of a polymorphic altcoin that maintains a stable value and is more resistant to fraud. btc: 15diNSNVontYf5iUvQqnLSQJ9rCAHuwpyJ betyourbits.com LTC: LRqVTEPcS7uusMy7JDqYEUg6KqdhfRWC5B DogECoin: DDHG719WNCCav5MWQQqyxLABFhZTG3jwX3 QRK: QdKnP5SqoG9r4CNuFcY1oesaYUAsu1W5hF

If you have a small asic miner not doing much in BTC you really have nothing to lose by mining TAK. You could have alot to gain, at least a few 100 or a few 1000 TAK look nice in the wallet compared to a small fraction of a BTC.
I would encourage anyone interested to mine it, no matter how small the miner is. At least you get something. Value is speculative. At least this coin has a cause. What exactly is the cause or purpose of a coin like Doge?
I am not trying to pick a fight about value just trying to encourage anyone with miners of any size to give it a go for a bit.

Even with 150GH system on the bitcoin network right now you would only make around 0.9BTC per month and it's going to get worse. I love that this coin has a great cause behind it.

This coin is for a good cause, and actually tries to serve it's intended purpose, where many others do not.
