Please launch a new SHA256 coin - it is a great re-use of old BTC resources. You can still contribute to a good cause without violating his trademark.

Nothing has change in regards to the coin, no?
If the coin itself is still in good health from a dev stand point I might have just the project to use this coin for.
My friends and I were looking to invest some money behind a coin and use for charity donations. We'd be making monthly $5k donations with the use of the coin to charities around the globe. We've been talking about paying someone to create a coin for us, but if this thing is already moving forward we could pick up with this one.
Edit; after all, isn't that what this coin's purpose was in the first place?

This. Everything was going quite well and I really didn't care about Takey being on board, since everything this coin aimed to be could've been achieved without him. |

1. The dev already know takei won't endorse it and probably threaten legal action.
2. He buy in votes on cryptsy to create hype.
3. He dumps like crazy today.
4. He announce that takei don't want to be involved.
5. Close the twitter and website.
6. Profit.
