Time for Kenneth Bjorke to start answering questions or give up the details of the person running this exchange.   They need to be paid a visit.  Probably in their mothers basement.

Someone get Kenneth Bjorke's email address, home address, telephone, ip address and give it to the police.

i don't think they are scam. i think it may be 1 person who is simply overwhelmed and unsure how to repair the problem. i've been able to login and take out all my coins, not all at once but over a period of a few days. some coins i had problems withdrawing but was able to at a later date. I dont understand why the op can't just be forward and say that he is overwhelmed and having problems rather then be silent.

Jup thats it. The site says its beta etc. Yeah I "lost" coins too but that is my own fault. Never put many coins or your whole savings on ANY exchange. So don't just blame this guy, try to help him resolve this asap. And YES he needs to give more updates instead of creating panic what is happening now.

This site is a deliberate scam!!! There are only like 30 people complaining in this site about withdraw. I don't see how hard it is to manually withdraw all these.

As I've said before I don't think the dev or dev's originally intended to scam.  However I simply don't understand the repeated messages of we will have something done within 24 hours and then not deliver.  I've been in IT for 25 years.  I understand missed deadlines.  I don't understand repeatedly missed deadlines by the same developers on the same team.  I just can't understand how they don't know if something can be done within 24 hours repeatedly.  There are really only a couple of explanations.  It is intentional or they have no idea what they are doing.  Either way it certainly doesn't inspire confidence.

On the brighter side I do like the fact that they posted.  To build a little bit of trust again it would have been nice if they could have hit this deadline.

No kdc update.

Growing impatient. I am just a hour away from that adress to knock on his door for some information.
Believe me I will not wait till the site will go offline. I was patient for all these weeks but updating a wallet takes 10 minutes.

Let's not only do empty talk. Time for action is now before too late.

Can someone in Norway give a call to the police department ?
Bounty 0.1BTC (anyone else chipping in ? )
Another 0.1BTC if police can convict the criminals in there.

Just give the police the below information, they should be able to find out the real owner of that PO Box.

The police would also contact the server company and could possibility get the IP address of the scammers behind this scheme.

I will personally write an email to them now.

Owner  : Anette Enger
Owner  : Coinmarket
Owner  : PO Box 1159 Sentrum
NS 1   : emma.ns.cloudflare.com
NS 2   : kip.ns.cloudflare.com

I'm sure Kenneth is a nice guy with good intentions. I also doubt Coinmarket.io was intended to be a scam.
But we want our 'stuck' money back, NOW, before you fix the broken engine. Enough is enough.

First acknowledging Kenneth Bjorke denies involvement:

Quote
In the recent days I have been receiving a lot of attention in regard to the CoinMarket.IO website. I would like to state that I am not the owner, developer or operator of this exchange. The website is only hosted within our infrastructure, and was delivered CoinMarket.IO as a development platform.

With background in recent feedback from users, we have chosen to terminate the hosting with CoinMarket.IO, as their users intrusive and threatening feedback is seriously affecting the well-being of myself and my family.

The owner/developer has been notified about the termination, and will have until the end of this month (march 2014) to move the website-, e-mail- and DNS services to another provider, and update the whois database with the actual information.

I have asked the owner of CoinMarket.IO that they communicate with their users, and work on resolving any issues they might have with their users.

If CoinMarket.IO has not moved by april 1st 2014, the servers hosting CoinMarket.IO will be shut down, and an empty page will welcome the users with contact information to the website owner.

I ask for your understanding, that as an infrastructure hoster, I have no possibilty to help you with any inquiries about the website itself or its content.

Lastly, I kindly ask that you accept this statement as my only and final statement regarding CoinMarket.IO.

However whilst Kenneth denies his involvement:
  • Only Kenneth is so far verified to be involved with Coinmarket.io. Unless he discloses who actually runs the site, he is our logical focal point.
  • Why would domain ownership be in Kenneth's name if he were only "hosting" the site? This points to Kenneth running Coinmarket.
  • If Kenneth is only hosting Coinmarket.io, yet the site's availability and performance issues have led to coins being stuck, he is complicit anyway.
  • If Kenneth sold some packaged exchange software or hosting services to a third party that is scamming Bitcoin, he is again complicit.
  • How is it that Cryptoex.cc is identical to Coinmarket.io? Is it the same owner, or the same packaged exchange software?
  • The email address kenneth.bjorke@fredolsen.no is valid and working. It is a lie that Kenneth is not working at Fred Olsen, as claimed.
  • The original WhoIs address for CoinMarket.io "PO Box 1159 Sentrum Oslo NO" (associated with "Anette Enger"), is actually a Fred Olsen registered address, where Kenneth works.

Given the last update from Coinmarket, personal pressure is evidently what yields results.
A Private Investigator may be required, like http://www.ope.no/eng/
If we pool BTC this would be cheap. We will also need people located in Norway.

To whomever runs Coinmarket.io: You will be found if you don't return our money. We suggest you get started manually processing all stuck withdrawals immediately.

To Kenneth: If you truly have nothing to do with Coinmarket.io witholding our money, and you've ditched them as a customer and you are concerned with what may unfold soon (vigilantes, legal action), you have nothing to lose by simply disclosing who they are. Just PM one of us. We can then remove your details.
