Regarding the legality of trading shares the options are either:

1) it's not legal to trade on these exchange. In which case you should've stopped all trading long ago

2) it is legal to trade in these exchange. In which case you should've put our shares up long ago

3) youre unsure of the legality of trading in these exchanges. In which case if you were playing it safe you should have stopped all trading long ago. Or you prefer to make your share holders happy in which case all shares should have been put up long ago

There no situation where it makes sense to trade some shares but not others.

I honestly don't believe you are able to confirm or holdings either because you're missing data or you're just outright incompetent. If you can confirm our holdings put up this validation website and let us validate our holdings, just to make sure you can.

It seems nobody noticed this one....

We have hired an accounting firm to get these done.  With the new IRS ruling, the firm is having to look at how that affects our books.  When we release the financial reports they will be audited reports.
Note: past tense, emphasis mine

Yes, we are getting an accountant to working on our books, now that tax season is over.
Note: present or future tense, emphasis mine

uhmm... just like the shares situation, where he said last week he is going to get us trading and now this week all of a sudden, he is going to think about what actions he is going to take in next few weeks   Cool

These updates are extremely inefficient and I believe both share holders and Ken could have some stress/annoyance/dismay reduced if we all work together to enhance them. Updates should be standardized, there should be a form for updating which covers all points of interest and has consistency in format and factual consistency1. Can we put our heads together and create this?

Topics I can think of, I'm too tired to think of any more right now, are:

-Datacenter
-VMC's own chip
-Shares
-MSD
-Customer Refunds
-Financials
-Website Upkeep
-Upcoming Products
-Inventory

Also, Ken...when you update you should not make false promises, its absolutely unnecessary. Some obvious examples are shares and refunds. If a topic has no update just state that there is nothing to update or that there is a delay in progress and provide an updated timeline giving reasons, example: "This topic is not a priority at the moment, therefore there is no update." or "We have run into unforeseen complications, the electric company is throttling our power and we cannot support more mining equipment right now.". This would be much more professional, paint a better picture of the company (marketing/appearance shouldn't be taken lightly), and make the mood a little more civil in this thread. Figured I would throw around these ideas for thought.

This only makes one sense:

The scammer and his family is living good with our dividends and are paying time by time the open refunds.

Why should he ever give us our shares back?

Weekly Update 4/16/2014

Datacenter is up to ~42 TH/s and we have added a 150 Kva transformer for more power.  We have ordered more equipment and racks and our next expansion will be 5 more racks at ~12.5 TH/s each bringing our total to ~100 TH/s.

VMC:  We now have in stock our Gold Rush mining card which is a ~750 GH/s card, these will be available on our website soon.

MSD Investigation:  I will be talking with our legal council as to what action I can take with the shares in the next few weeks.  I know everyone is ready to start trading; however, I am in a difficult position at the moment.  I am working on solutions to this problem.  Long term for shareholders, I think CC is the answer.

When is the 100TH going to go online? When can you double that to 200TH? When are we going to put the Gold Rush mining cards online?

You need to close out CT and CS and put our shares on Havelock so we can all trade shares. You need to pay out dividends as soon as possible. Make this your priority.

I want my shares trading as much as the next guy, but a lot of you do not understand the legal ramifications of this shit. If the MSD is still actively investigating ActiveMining, Ken is protecting himself, the company, and us from a lot of trouble by leaving it as-is and letting the lawyers figure it out. This is a brand new industry in a legal gray area, you can't treat it like a blue chip investment, and that's precisely the argument his lawyers are likely making right now.

You all need to wake up to reality and be patient. It's very clearly not a scam. Inconvenient and beyond schedule to the point of almost incompetence, sure, but just chill the fuck out. It will happen when it happens.

This argument would have more weight if shares weren't already trading right now. The problem is that some shareholders can trade while others are prevented.

And also Ken keeps saying himself that shares will be available next week, two weeks, etc. He shouldn't be making promises he can't keep.

If that's the case then keen shouldn't tell us that he would get the shares up last week.

And it wouldn't make much sense to have some shares trading if he wasn't sure if he is legally allowed to.

At the very least he should let us verify or shares so he can be ready to pay dividends and make sure it's all in order.

I think there's a middle option where the legal stuff got heavy after the trading was enabled for the few shares, that would make it a potential "contempt of court" type thing to put the rest up.

From Ken's last update, I get the impression that he's ready and raring to go, but waiting for the legal air to clear.... and he's mentioning colored coins as beyond this level of bullshit, since no kind of exchange like enterprise that SEC could interfere with is necessary for their trading.

Good point i didn't think about before. If its legally risky to trade shares then ken would have to stop trading shares completely. It wouldn't make a difference at all if he allows all shares to trade now. In this light it looks like he wants to save work or something. Maybe he fears a price crash though now would be the ideal time to allow trading since the mood is generally positive and the price tags are rising on trading shares. So the fear of a price crash isn't a valid reason too.

Ken, please finally honor your months old promises. It makes no sense to claim we cant trade when we already trade.

Hello Ken,

I pre-ordered a Fast-Hash-One Silver 64 GH/s PCI-E Module (Order Reference AGWQBVSDM) -- placed on 2013-12-03, my status on the VMC website is still showing "Awaiting bank wire payment" and i have absolutely no answers to my messages from the customer support. What is going on ? I would like a refund now..

Thanks

Still no answer from the customer support at this day..

Ken, please finally honor your months old promises. It makes no sense to claim we cant trade when we already trade.

I have been saying this for a long time, if there is an issue with trading then all share trading should be halted, allowing trades to continue on cryptostocks and cryptotrade whilst the majority of people are not allowed to trade or even claim ownership of their shares is beyond ridiculous and just further highlights Ken's bizarre logic. Either it is ok to trade or it isn't, nobody with a sane and logical mind can think that it is ok for some shareholders to trade but not others.

Very sad to see that we're getting "Two weeks"'d over and over by Ken, I think I speak for everyone when I say I'd rather Ken had just been honest about our shares from the start instead of leading us on with false promises just to make the trolls shut up on a week to week basis.

It's not that I'm just looking to get access to my shares to sell out and run as that isn't the case at all, I and probably every other shareholder here would just like to be in control of their own assets.
