People who says BTC is dead, those people don't have bitcoin. MAybe bitcoin the price is not high but is good enought for me to believe that it will increase in the future.

People do get greedy.
I don't think Bitcoin would have dipped to below $200, no matter how much FUD is generated.  Tongue
Yeah, always. If they already have, they must be want more and more. It was natural.

I'm agreed. Don't think bitcoin will be below $200 again like in january.

Yeah I doubt it too. Bitcoin is now stable around 350 dollars so I hope it will stay like that.

January 2016 I think it will be at $400 but $350 is good too.

agreed! bitcoin have been quite stable this year which is good, im sure many
investor got attracted because of its stability this year, but still some people
are skeptical.

The King is dead, long live the King.   Bitcoin will have to go through several stages of shedding its original setup to become something greater, I think its easily the case that people mistake regeneration for death when parts of the system must fail and be replaced to achieve greater things.
Of course its possible to falter even stop on the way, nothing is certain.   Some coin will succeed in greater then what we have now

The King is alive, long live the King. Sidechains are coming soon and will make all altcoins obsolute and even a bigger joke. There will never be "Bitcoin 2.0", there will only be people crying because they didn't invest when it was still below 5 figures. I can't wait until we have Rootstock making Ethereum and the rest of altcoins completely irrelevant.

Most of the people say this because they want bitcoin to succeed. In a few years a lot of companies won't be able to live without bitcoin.
Doing business with bitcoin will be the new standard.

nah, i think they are like the one in the speculation section, that has sold at 10 and lost many coins, so now they need a way to retrieve thus, by spreading fud, to lower the price

they believe in bitcoin more than anyone else, actually

Many people have been expecting the price of bitcoin to increase exponentially and since it hasn't happened, they conclude that bitcoin might be over.

The price of gold has been falling down for 2 years now (down 20% only this year), yet nobody says that the gold is dead.
Maybe the problem was that too high expecations were created for bitcoin ?

Yes the market cap is growing and the merchant base too. I am not sure who told you bitcoin is dead, but this person needs a mental check up.
Bitcoin is flourishing as we speak.

You're perfectly right. Bitcoin is flourishing every day in slow and more stable manner like a more versatile commodity.
The value appreciation is the first phase before bitcoin goes into mainstream and worldwide adoption. So, bitcoin is alive and more stronger than before.

I think the last few months are evidence enough that btc is not ready to die yet.

Yes, of course. Bitcoin prices a bouncing back to make the rumour spreading people understand how stronger bitcoin ecosystem is. I believe bitcoin prices were heading towards new higher levels above $1200. Then, there will be no point on any arguments against bitcoin ecosystem.

Yes, last two months are the answers for the argument of bitcoin. There is no support for the claim that bitcoin is dead. Bitcoin is getting stronger and stronger each and every day by means of growing bitcoin adopters. So higher value is inevitable with respect to bitcoin growth.

Bitcoin is not dead at all. People who say this are just butt hurt that they checked out before bitcoin was even at it's peak.
They are just sad people who can't seem to make a profit out of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not and will not be dead. Bitcoin is very much alive. I think there's an upcoming GFC, and there are signs. People will change their fiat to assets like bitcoin, and bitcoin will spike.

The government cannot take your money unless they break into your house and take your trezor, or jack your computer. And I'm sure that if they don't have a compelling reason, your protected by law.

oh well , if they even hack your computer they couldn't get control of the wallet if it is encrypted.
to be more specific they don't have a right to control bitcoin cause it is not regulated nor generated by them but is something private and attained through (proof of work) i.e spending electricity.
Nothing can be judged about the future but at present it is definitely not dead.

They can have the right to regulate bitcoin is it is treated as a currency or a property. The governments will extract some tax out of it.

Most likely this. They don't want people to make profit because they have no coins to benefit from the price rise as well. It's not too late for these people to buy. They can still jump on the Bitcoin train. There is plenty of room for great profits!
