Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

People saying that bitcoin is dead are mostly haters or traders trying to make some FUD in order for panic sellers sell their coins at lower prices.

There are not many haters of bitcoin. I think they are the traders of bitcoin to make bitcoin cheaper by spreading the deadly news.

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

I don't think we should listen to those bunch of people who don't know what is bitcoin and what it holds for us in future, its better we keep on supporting bitcoins without listening to what people say.

Yes and the people with negative mindsets will never spread good news related bitcoins, they will always involve in criticizing bitcoins, I don't know what makes them feel like that, even the price keeps on climbing they would continue to say that its dead.

I think the fall in prices to $ 370 will not make bitcoin die. the decline was not too big. unless bitcoin down and only worth $ 1. it might make bitcoin dead and unused

Exactly, even if falls down to $100 we still can't say that its dead, as bitcoin has a potential to grow again, but I don't see it falling that down, bitcoin can never be dead, it has a long way to go, and it will reach to a new level in future.

Bitcoin will never fall that down, bitcoin has a great potential to grow, and it will  grow in future, we just need to give some time to bitcoin and we should support bitcoin, as many of us are having negative trust towards bitcoins.

people who are angry are mostly upset because they are losing money due to their lack of trading knowledge. or they are trolls hoping to cause people to panic sell. there are a lot anti bitcoin shills in this forum. especially now they seem to support various bitcoin alternatives.

It is only pessimists who will keep on saying that Bitcoin is dead. Bitcoin is only going through the processes that the other currencies (fiat) went through. Even up to this time, the dollar changes its value relative to other currencies. Bitcoin will never die but it's volatility will keep it strong.
