Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

They say it because they are very negative about Bitcoin and that is really bad. They must know that it will be the future.
And you can also see that it will be more worth and that will be very nice. The halving is also coming so that is good I hope.

they say negative things on bitcoin because they do not yet really know what it is about bitcoin, so they said that no proposition.

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

i think because they know that their words will get attention, because that will create panic, people will sell their bitcoins, so they will get chance to buy cheap coins

probably because just o create panic, do you remember Mike heran words about bitcoin that created a huge panic and price fell down so he could buy cheap bitcoins, i think everyone hopes for that so they say that bitcoin is dead and so on

There are always hordes of people saying you should sell so they are getting cheaper BTC, This is just spam and attempts to make people sell at low prices for them to buy cheaper.

I think traders do that just to threats. I'm not sure the results will make the price down. Now many users who are smart, they will not be fooled by the hoax news cornering bitcoin

Because people want to troll you, and some people will actually respond to this, selling their bitcoins to other people because they, for some reason, believe them. They might earn money from this...

So do I. I think the bitcoin will be developed contantly in the future. So the value will be maintained.

Others just hate competition (financial incumbents) and see Bitcoin as a threat and therefore it will fail be design(open source, permissionless etc) and is called dead.

so useless if people do that in order for bitcoin prices to be down it will be useless and a waste of your time.

Some people say it when they are mad, because they lost a lot of money with gambling or trading. I think that it is their own fault.
If you have Bitcoin and you want make some profit, then the only thing that you have to do is to trade or just wait for a higher value.
That is the best option, otherwise you will sell it too early and that will be not good.

I don't think this bitcoin is dead till now and we cannot say it is dead until it reaches 10usd value..well hipe everyone is preparing gor the 2016 crash ...coz I am doing whatever I can to avoid it

Yes we do know what he is talking about. This a good way in making bitcoin owners sell their coins. Put some fear and doubts in their mind and somehow get some owners to sell their coins. That will make the price lower and the one who did the false news can buy back at a lower price.

people who say bitcoin will die are people who can not predict the state. bitcoin now increasingly known and now bitcoin's price continues to rise steadily. very logical if said bitcoin will disappear and die. I do not understand how they think.
