Yeah Altcoins will be as important as Bitcoin. There are many Altcoins created similarly as foundations and methods as bitcoin, indeed these also have a strong and high value in the market. However, altcoins will never be same or overtake the position of Bitcoin. Altcoins will always follow Bitcoin.
A cryptocurrency project that has a coin should be classified as a coin. They all should have a purpose. |

every altcoin must have something that isn't important. because each altcoin also has stages to achieve a good goal. so at this time always need a process so that each altcoin can be considered important like bitcoin |

This is impossible because bitcoin is a main cryptocurrency such as USA dollar for fiat money. Maybe some altcoins which have a good protocol such as Neo, ADA and perspective QuickXprotokol will be costed near the bitcoin price.

Yes. Some alts are great investments and though it will take them time to reach the success Bitcoin has gained, they have a lot of potential and have more successful projects going than the pioneer.
Ethereum is the most popular alt and has now gained acceptance among big companies like Microsoft, Intel, JP Morgan and can easily cross the $1000 mark by the end of 2018.
Other good alts are Litecoin, Monero, Stellar. You can expect good amount of profits from these coins.

At this point, No. The altcoin can't be as important as the bitcoin because the bitcoin is the king of coins and has the more global popularity and appeal... While the alts are still new projects trying to find a foothold in the industry.. With time, things could change, but certainly not yet.

I am sure that people who get involved in crypto will say that the altcoin is important, same as bitcoin because, without altcoin, they need big money to start to invest in crypto. And gladly, with the altcoin, now they don't have to use the huge money to invest in the crypto, and the best with altcoin is they have many choices to invest. Besides that, they can also use the altcoin as the investment too like what they use with bitcoin, and they can make a lot of profit in the long-term.

Well... It depends on the alternatives coins themselves if the alternatives coins has large of community members such as bitcoin, it will be important as bitcoin, but if the alternatives coins is useless (many bad alternatives coins out there people said it with scam coins) it will not be important for anyone, so gives the time for the alternatives coins to be important or not for all of cryptocurrencies community.

Cryptocurrencies is still a new thing to the world and their applications sectors and indefinite at the moment only halted by the speed of adaption as by nature the world resists any sudden change. Bitcoin is the mother of all but she can't always lead the new emerging technologies.
THEres no really need for competition here because all the coins is usable in future(only those legitimate) The problem is these days since crypto is building the position to be in mainstream sooners,people here thought that its about the market cap or value But they don’t know that crypto is created to serve the people and nothing more than that |

Yes, I think it's true that altcoint is as important as bitcoint, but keep in mind because the number of altcoint types isn't all altcoints worthy of being made into future investments there will certainly be some altcoints that will die, so you should be good at choosing the right altcoint for made an investment

Well, there are so many competitive altcoins recently with its very amazing concepts of the crypto projects. Actually, some altcoins have evry promising prospects to be as the Bitcoin accepted and important as this. But, I think right now, there is no coin that can be as important as BTC. However, some coins such as Ethereum and bitcoin cash start to make a great move to be accepted in many more projects.

In any ecosystem, be it in nature or business, there is always a competition. And most often than not, the best always rises to the top. And here in our crypto ecosystem, a competition do also exist. Between Bitcoin and Altcoin. We all very well known that bitcoin, being the first and most proven cryptocurrency already took the center stage in crypto market. Now that altcoins came into the picture, where does it really stands? What will be the selling point of altcoin that will eventually led the bitcoin enthusiasts to finally switch places?
Altcoins will have their own function in future just like bitcoin,maybe in this moments we cannot tell what are those since the adaptation is to far from reality,but the cryptocurrencies created for their own product or services and in time this will be revealed.and many will cry because they don't took care of their token and coins |

altcoins, most being clones of bitcoins, are better than bitcoin technology-wise. but bitcoin enjoys being at the center stage due to being the first to be launched. altcoins, on the other hand, provides people with other use cases not provided by bitcoin like token creation and smart contract. other uses also includes feeless transaction and instant verification.

I think that altcoins are already very important in the crypto world. Take for example the same Ethereum. As you rightly pointed out, alternative cryptocurrencies compete with Bitcoin and thus make it develop. It's hard to say whether a currency will be more important than the BTC. Bitcoin price is high everybody can’t have enough money to buy bitcoin their first choice is altcoin or token. Sometimes they work as bounties so that he can earn some token and later he can exchanged with bitcoin.
Everybody’s target is bitcoin that’s way bitcoin price is high, Its quite impossible to replace altcoin instead of bitcoin. Do you think any mobile can replace instead of Iphone? It quite impossible. There has many mobile in the market but Iphone is exceptional that’s why it took the market. Like this Bitcoin is the pioneer and till now have in leading position in cryptocurrency market, Last 9 years nobody can beat him. Altcoin would be as important but it would take time.
