Auto tweets and Reddit updates would be cool - would keep things moving without much intervention.. it's pretty stale on Reddit, not a single new post since the tipbot one (and that was mostly us talking). Anything that keeps people interested and coming back is good., but like you said don't want to be spam'n it either. Once enough music is out there then Radio Cypherfunk! 24/7 streaming.. Radio Cypherfunk sounds like a wonderful idea - a radio station devoted to promoting cc-by-sa music! I've got friends who've run Internet radio stations so I can definitely help with setting that up. Soooo... What we're actually talking about is The Cypherbox/Cypherplayer/CypherSOMETHINGGODDAMMIT, devoted entirely to promoting Cypherfunk and any other cc-by-sa music?

And someway to tie the coin into it, and make it useful.. but that's the hard part.. having people desire to get involved with the coin, mine/buy it, and use it. Hmmm.. Radio Cypherfunk player with built in tipper for the current track... but that would require each song to be tied to a funk account..

Now that I think of it, that would be pretty cool if you could tip or "vote" each song directly using Funk in a player.. (kind of like Pandora's thumbs up or Facebook Like, but using Funk coins) it would provide the artist incentive to create good works under the Cypherfunks, as they would be generating Funk from their work, and also provide an interesting rating system for the songs themselves as you can then list the songs that have earned the most Funk, in all different ways (all time, per week, that day, etc) People can easily vote what they like with their Funk. But again that comes down to linking each song to a unique funk address, that all then links back to the original creator so they get the funk credit for their work.. Just thinking out loud...

Some really good tunes on the Soundcloud page, listening to that with the hum of my rig in the background :p Chucking 5.5 MH/s at it until my rig is sold tomorrow, maybe the buyer won't come collect it for a day or two though hopefully

Yeah that's how I saw it happening - you're sat with your tip wallet open, and you can send tips to artists in a matter of seconds while listening to the song. If we conceptually look at a multi-headed tipper that can have plugins for any site, we can add to the features over time, and with enough weight, we can even perhaps get music-oriented sites ADD the features we want to their APIs. It'd be like Spotify, LastFM and all the rest, but focussed ENTIRELY outside the music industry's grip on all the money. Perhaps it'd even be enough to convince some artists to release all their music on cc-by-sa.

Sorry that I haven't replied yet. Internet's been down the whole day (and still is). Typing this on a shitty phone browser.
I like where this going! Will reply fully once I get my damn Internet back!
It's the big record companies.. they have conspired to take down your internet since they don't like the idea of open source music.. Any strange people outside your place with dark glasses and ear pieces?

Yep, that's exactly what I had in mind. A player for tipping music. You authenticate with your SoundCloud account, add a tipping addres (for FUNK). Then the cypherplayer [or whatever it is called], randoms through the music. If you like you tip right then and there. All music is allowed [even non-cypherfunks music]. But it is apparent that it is a cypherfunk project. There will be links to the music and so forth. That's why I thought, it's best to do it as a separate player, rather than in the same wallet software. In terms of making it easier for people to understand [band + crypto], my thoughts are that it's best to keep the wallet JUST a wallet.

Wasn't nervous until like 1min before. They start counting down in the earpiece. And there's no face to work with. You are just staring into a camera: http://instagram.com/p/ly9yTduwwk/ [this was my view] But it's fun. Always up for new experiences! As for that vocal remix. Here it is: https://soundcloud.com/simon-segfault/the-cypherfunks-weavers [very happy with this one!]

Request for Reddit Tip Bot: Can we make it so it's easier for someone to figure out how to use when they visit /r/cypherfunks? Maybe some sidebar info? Right now it took me a while to figure out how to even load the bot, and I've used other reddit bots before. We need some clear documentation

Right now it took me a while to figure out how to even load the bot, and I've used other reddit bots before. We need some clear documentation Totally! Been talking too n00bnoxious about it. neuro, I added you and n00b as wiki editors. http://www.reddit.com/r/thecypherfunks/wiki/tipbot [if someone else wants editing permission, just pm me!] There's the page where we can add information on the tipbot. Just a bit swamped with stuff atm, otherwise I would've helped right now. Here's a good reference point? http://www.reddit.com/r/ALTcointip/wiki/indexI would like to stress to emphasise the importance of tipping is not the tip itself. It must always be seen as a bonus. So first give constructive criticism (if you are going to use it to tip other musicians). That wiki page can then be appended at the end of each verification. ie "What is this?"-type link.

Check USERGUIDE.md here.EDIT: Done! http://www.reddit.com/r/thecypherfunks/wiki/tipbotCan't log onto the tipbot server from here but will add the help message as soon as I can.
