There were several programmers once upon a time in BC. But they've all left the ship since. why ?

BLK had always exactly ONE core developer and that one did never "leave ship".
As for the groups developing tools/services around the coin: a few left, many new ones entered. Nothing that would be different from any other OSS project.

pos 3.0 has had 2 commits since last month and only one active developer right ?

I had a few conversations with the original Faircoin developer, they have abandoned the "coin" (not the project since it has nothing to offer) after a few scam incidents happened on an exchange, then the "community" took over and now it's pure p&d.
