i think rat4 forgot to change the version number for the windows binaries. "Product version" still says 1.1.2.1 in the latest build.

1.2.0 Deleted everything aside from wallet and it's now synchronising. Is it really going to be necessary to download the whole blockchain again ?

Is there a bootstrap? Or do I just need to wait to download the whole block chain if I want to run the wallet local? I couldn't find a bootstap on the web page.

Thanks. should be synced by the time I get up in the morning. Edit: My antivirus kept putting the blk001.dat in quarantine. Excluded it from scanning now, so hope that works.

It's an (open source) lightweight web wallet (originally based on "bitcoinj") that is secured by a 12-word-passphrase + a 4-digit pin number. The beta has (if i am not wrong) "only" the web-interface and no apps yet, but there will likely be iOS and Android "thin client" apps. It has been forked from this project ( github) I am sure the devs will answer questions about it in the reddit thread (linked in my post "headline")

To be honest, i do not understand why you were wondering? That wallet/platform was only available for BTC and LTC (maybe some other PoW coins but AFAIK not for any POS coin) before, the ObsidianCTV forked and modified it to work with BLK.

I hope this wallet doesn't suffer from the same invalid rpc header (length) that rendered the last build unusable for me

What did that problem cause? I can't get the new wallet to sync. After building the new version and starting it up, it started syncing from scratch for some reason. Then it crashed on block 6340 and after restarting it's stuck at that block with 11 connections to network with an error dialog "EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error CDB: Error -30974, can't open database".

it caused a problem on the windows build for anyone using the rpc service. My 1.2 wallet seems fine, synced but i had to manually add peers that were known to be running 1.2 for it to sync (proper protocol version). So banx.io is updated and BLK wallet operations have resumed no problem (as far as I can tell lol).
