I don't see justified reason to change anything, we just need team to finishes what he have started. We need one manager for public relations so new members do not get confused with all stupid posts lately. Also updates are more than necessary to add more professionalism. Those are only changes i will made right now.
I believe that most of us would agree that (BC)/BLK
was and is a factor in crypto-sphere. Especially in the PoS game field.
BC brought the "color" named coins hype to the scene.
BC had its ups and downs. IE and his friends did a lot of damage to this coin.
There's a surge in cryptocurrency users since
BTC bullrun started.
Users who do their own
research can find all the negative posts from 2-3 years ago if they simply go through the threads which were labeling a lot of users as scammers/pump&dumpers.
If you want to succeed, you need to get rid of the bad PR.
Will a re-brand help this? No, it wont help, but it will show that the community is putting effort to move forward and ignore all the bad things, because 1 group of 3-5 people doesn't equal entire community.
"Black" as a color has a psychological effect. Black color symbolizes bad and good things, depends how you look at it.
Big institutions pay attention to details. Smart investors pay attention to details.
All we should do is find a suitable name. Black color scheme is what BLK should promote.

If you're simply attracting kids with a "cool name", you're not going forward. You're simply creating a market full of fear, big spreads, big price differences (see CNY vs polo markets in the last 4-5 weeks). Smart investors don't like this.
I think it's time BC grows up and steps up in big boys league, since that's where its place is.
