Hi guys,

I'm very interested in BC but can't understand everything. Could you clarify, please ? Would be very grateful

1. Is there only 74 mil of BC right now right ? Why not 100 M ?
2. How this multipool will reward miners, that's why you donate to promote it ? (pay miners ? How much you will pay them if yes ? ) Won't they stop mining after you stop donations ?
3. There is very low network hashrate. Couldn't BC network be somehow attacked ?
4. I viewed 1 of last blocks. There was ~40BC POS for blockfounder. Where is that comes from ? (fees was 0 )

Welcome, let me answer your questions:

1. Block time is 1 minute. First 5000 blocks were POW. After block 5000, POS kicked in- so is POW+POS. After 10.000 blocks would be POS only. Every POW block generated 10.000 blackcoins. Total supply after 5000 blocks: 5000 * 10.000 = 50.000.000. After that, half of the blocks were POS, the other half were POW. So approximately 2500 more POW blocks = 25.000.000 supply, and approx. 2500 POS blocks = 1% (yearly) on that current supply. That's how come we are at ~ 74.4 million

2. The rewards will be in two ways: 1/ the bonusses, 2/ the increasing price. We hope that nobody in their right mind sells a coin (twice) that will be worth more the day after, and the day after.

3. BC is PoS only. The known vulnerability so far is if someone has 51% of the coins, or if someone can pre- compute the chain. Neither seem a threat.

4. 40 BC POS is generated by the system (part of the 1% annual compound interest). It's someone who has kept his wallet closed for a while. If you open your wallet, your coins will stake and generate BC/stake from POS block

Just a clarification on nr 2.
The multipool mines other coins, sells them for btc and buys bc. This is the main purpose of the multipool.

The promotion will give bonus bc to the miners as an extra to what you have already mined through the other coins

The multipool purchase of blackcoin is done manually right?
 Maybe whoever does the purchasing could maybe keep an eye out for this guy's big sell walls and relieve him of some of his coins? Might make him less likely to throw his weight around since the purchase is randomly done.
 

I've asked this before. If the purchase of blackcoin is done manually how do we know all the proceeds from "mining" go to the purchase of blackcoin? How do we know some isn't being siphoned off to whomever is doing the purchasing?

Also, how do we know that these individuals aren't buying up blackcoin of their own before the purchase from "mining" is done?

Yes, the whales should take their responsibility and identify themselves. Be fair - register right here in the forum with full name and postal address! I also ask to donate a fair share of your BC to every community member. Its just fair as it will promote the coin-distribution and boost confidence in Blackcoin! Come on guys - nobody needs so much cash!!

What's fair is that no one, not even whales, should have to identify themselves. That's one of the fundamental good qualities of cryptocurrency.

What is also fair is that owners of cryptocurrency shouldn't have to listen to beggars asking for the whales to distribute their coins. The beggars can go out and invest their own money and take risks in order to make their own profit.

Exactly. We just need to be patient and hold our nerve. This community is growing daily and I expect great things to happen in the next 4 weeks. A 500% increase in value in the next 2 months seems realistic. In fact that's being bearish.

Even with problems it can grow like internet with ups and downs.
Regular people don't know about crypto like it was with internet 20 years ago...
