It depends. Most of the time, airdrops are nothing but shit. They come with new ICO. For having a free promotion, they use most of the newbies by offering so called airdrop. This kind of airdrops have 0 value. Most of the time, I don't follow this kind of airdrop for this reason. Why should we help scammer?

Fresco, Helpbiz, Nobs Crypto, Kanade - this is an exception to the rule. Basically, airdrop is the same as Scam. I do not trust the creators of airdrop because most often they are scammers. I participated more than 200 airdrops and just 30 received the award. How do you like these statistics?
Oh only 30 airdrops received? And didn´t you participate also in airdrops on tokendrops website? Because they are not paying airdrops to participants, that is maybe why you received only few airdrops to your wallet Wink.

You need to be very lucky in order to get a good amount through the Airdrops and only a few people get this type of opportunity. Sometimes it is very risky to join in Airdrops because fake companies launching their Airdrop in order to collect the wallets data. My suggestion is good to stay away from these Airdrops.

Based on my own experience, I can say that airdrops are worth themselves. It is just necessary to carefully approach their selection, as recently there have been many fraudulent projects promoting airdrops for theft of private keys.

I'm tired of joining in an airdrop because for me it's a waste of time and effort. Some are fake and just to entice the people for their free publicity at the end nothing will be given to you. By the way, when signing up an airdrop be vigilant might be a scam to get your personal information.

I am fully confident - despite the rather difficult situation in the crypto market, now you can still find promising and useful airdrops for successful work in the crypto market. But, unfortunately, recently their number has turned out to be too small. I really hope to improve the situation in the future.

One of the most successful airdrops was the deeponion airdrop.
40 weeks and it still went to the moon.
So yeah airdrops are worth it, providing they are not on telegram lol.

Joining an airdrop is not free. You need to invest your time and effort provided by the bounty manager before you will receive your reward.

I also used to hate airdrops because of the fact that most of them are fake just like what you’ve said but then for curiosity sake, there were lots of airdop advertisement that passed through my wall in facebook and I tried some of them with out really hoping for the payment. Just to find out and just lately I notice there are coins in my wallet that are unfamiliar to me and guess what, they are in exchanges already with corresponding fiat equivalent in my wallet.

hmm not sure, my last airdrop i have participated was last year in june. i made some $ on it, but was it really worth? i wouldn't say yes. maybe there are 1 out of 10 airdrops worth it. it's hard to find the gem. if it's easy to participate so why not joining. but some airdrops have so much requirements that i lose the interest in participating.

The airdrops market remains quite a promising area for work, despite the existing problems and a large number of scammers. Yes, due to the fall of the market and the activity of fraudsters, it becomes more difficult to earn income here. But in principle, you can get a stable additional income, despite the periodic errors.

I remember the signature airdrop for deeponion was a huge success. They still have an airdrop to this day now as well for doing deeponion tasks. Mind you it's no where near what it was lol. But hey its something.

Lately I have seen a lot people complain about fake airdrops or low profitable airdrops
But in reality Airdrop have been worth it; if you can make your research and improve your standard

Recent airdrops such as Fresco, Helbiz, Nobs Crypto, Kanade,  have been hitting up the exchanges with fair and profitable prices

Which is telling us that Airdrop is Alive
There are more profitable airdrops. The only thing we need to do is research them and look carefully if this is not a scam. Actually you do not have to share all the airdrops because others are scams. All we have to do is to study every one because almost 90% of airdrop is a scam.

I myself only participate in airdrops run by IEOs and STOs, it's most likely not a scam project and 99% of the time, bounty hunters will get rewarded in the end

As per the things we are seeing from the past the Airdrops are completely useless which we don't make money through these airdrops. Some times it is impossible for us to sell the coin which we get through Airdrops, so instead of wasting our precious time in Airdrops better concentrate on best bounty campaigns.

airdrops that are based on ieo and sto's ? i didnt know that there was that kind of airdrop , what i thought is that airdrops are only based on ico's  . ieo and sto are still new so maybe there are only few of them and i cannot see them due to they are being dumped easily by ico bounties  . thanks for the suggestion btw , im gonna try to find one  .

you think your effort will be worth it on bounties ? well think again bro  . bounties have no difference from an airdrop because they both came from an ico so most of them are expected to failed  .

My simple answer to that question is NO.
Airdrop use to be something very special in the late 2016 to the first quarter of 2018 whereby what you are promised are what you receive in value but presently you should expect $0.01 value from an airdrop that promised $10 because the value disappear when the project is listed in an exchange.

That's why OP created this thread. He created this on 2 years ago while bitcoin still something "new" for lot of people. On that time, there were also very few new altcoin which running their bounties and airdrops program. Because there were only few coins on market, we were able to earn big amount from bounty / airdrops but it's not happening again for now
