The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Now you can set starting difficulty value by typing like "d=0.01" at worker's password.

This would help big hash miners to catch up to its own hardware limit faster than ever.

1. Run your miner program and check your difficulty value.
Keep in mind that difficulty value must be stabilized.
We recommend you to get difficulty value at least after 10 minutes of mining.

2. Set this difficulty value to worker's password as "d=XXXX"
   ex) d=0.0312
Do not write this value to miningpoolhub's worker page, just write it at miner configuration file.

3. Now run your miner program again.
You will see your miner running at the difficulty value you typed.

4. Difficulty value can go up and down again. It's not a bug.
d=XXX just gives us hint at start and it doesn't enforce diff value to be fixed.

Far wrong diff value may corrected automatically, but you'd better write optimized value.

Big hash miners who are using rentals, multi-algo, ASIC would get better result with difficulty hint.

Hi, when I try set the difficulty on any hashimoto based coin it changes nothing. I am using ethminer and have tried doing it with sp 0 1 and 2 and none of them work with setting a difficulty. This means that my small rigs never find a share.....and it doesn't seem to ever reduce the difficulty (it remains the same on all rigs). Does anyone know how to get this working?

I am not 100% sure but I don't think that is working on the ethash ports.

Ah thanks, hoping this isn't true but I think you are right.

@miningpoolhub, can you confirm whether setting diff in password field also works on the ethash ports?

Things can be a bit slow especially when there is not enough volume to send to exchange efficiently. Monero has also forked recently so some exchanges can still have their Monero wallets in maintenance mode.

I have just realised One Time Password replaces the PIN completely everywhere.
Great idea! Having access to an account means nothing now for 'hackers'.

Thanks, MPH! Smiley

Will the 15th September Monero protocol update be supported by MPH ?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/6yuv2s/psa_users_solominers_exchangesmerchantsservices/

"
Approximately the 15th of September there will be a scheduled protocol upgrade on the Monero network. Most pools have upgraded or are in the process of upgrading, but some have not upgraded yet. If they don't upgrade before the scheduled protocol upgrade they will get booted off the network. As a result you will miss out on revenue if you are mining on these pools. Thus, if you are mining on one of the pools that hasn't upgraded yet or hasn't scheduled an upgrade, please contact your pool owner as soon as possible and urge them to upgrade. Alternatively, you can switch to a pool that is on the right version.
"

Yeah already updated and successfully forked to new chain.

Please lower 30 minute API update time.
Its too much...
By the time MPH API shows good profit MPH site shows no profit.
MPH site was showing 0.58795 no-norm profit on feathercoin neoscrypt and by the time api updated and my miner started mining it MPH site shows 0.25478
Thats not good for auto profit switching at all.

Hmm.. Actually 30 min is cloudflare's minimum caching time interval limit. I'll find a way to lower this.

@Call_Me_Bambi Just a point about the auto exchange. If you had auto exchange off then turned auto exchange on, you would have to press the arrow to move your current balance into the exchange wallet. It does take a while though to then move to the exchange because everyone's coins are batched up together to avoid fees.

Yes, I did press the arrow. I know it can take a while but it's now been 9 hours since I 'pressed the arrow' and my Monero is still 'On Exchange' and has not been exchanged into bitcoin; I'm sure that in 9 hours there would have been enough accrued Monero to be exchanged - unless I'm the only one mining Monero on MPH Smiley

Anyone help with the MPH monero wallet address format ?

Thanks.

Edit: For MPH, My User ID on this account is 100449.

Another thing about auto-exchange, I stopped auto-exchange over 1 hour ago yet it's still sending Monero to "Credited for autoexchange" and I have to manually undo this "Credited for autoexchange" by pressing the arrow to send coin back to be "Credited" to my Monero wallet.
It looks like there is a very long delay before auto-exchange stops auto-exchanging.

It needs time. "On Exchange" meeans some amount of coins are sent to exchange site and waiting to be exchanged

"Credited for auto xchange" counts up even you disabled auto exchange because already mined coin's confirmation is not fully counted yet.
As long as your coins are confirmed then you will be able to move your coin from "Credited for Auto Exchange" to normal credit wallet by clicking left arrow button.
Coins will not be exchanged if you disabled exchange coin.

@miningpoolhub We are getting ready to push for MultiPoolMiner V3, which will have lots of new features including better calculation for profitability but the API update delay throws the whole thing off. Have you thought about any alternative solutions?

You were multipoolminer dev too? I thought only aaronsace was developing it.
I'll find a better way but current 30 min is not what I decided. Cloudflare limitation for caching. I'll contact Cloudflare for shorter caching.

Is there any tutorial for exchange ?  Huh
In auto exchange page set the coin you want.
Click "Set Auto Exchange"
Turn on or off the coins you want to get exchanged automatically in the right panel.
Click Update Settings.
Go to that coin page you set as auto exchange coin and set your wallet address.
Done.
Thanks

you mean if I wanna change ETH to Musicoin, need to do thise setup ?
http://s9.picofile.com/file/8306584634/FireShot_Capture_3_Mining_Pool_Hub_I_Account_https_miningpoolhub_com_.png
Is that right?

You don't need to set OFF for source coins.

RE: MAXCOIN

I had my maxcoin convert to DASH since that was the only one next to bitcoin and it never converted, just sat there on exchange.  THen I set it to Bitcoin and it converted right away.  Though the Bitcoin transmission fees are high for small transfers.

It would be nice if you could auto convert back out from bitcoin to another coin, I didn't see that.

I also like auto exchange turning on and off so I can build coins up and calculate my ROI.  Plus for some reason I think transferring larger coin numbers gets you better conversions.  I've seen the final coin conversion does take a few hours to settle off the exchange.

This is a great system and my numbers here are higher than other multipool exchanges.

RE: GRIDSEEDS
I have gridseed miners and they work fine, but the hash rate is so small I solo mine them for the lottery winning block find.  I use nicehash solo mining lottery pool with CGMINER 4.3.5 which runs them at 888MHZ.  it hits difficulty at 128 and 256 right off the start.  I also have extremely low latency of only 30 mSec. to that pool.  I never saw any returns but a few pennies per month with them pool mining.  So, If I hit the lottery once in a year or two that is more than pool mining.

Maxcoin is quite different from others because it's only exchanged at Yobit. As I don't trust yobit, I try to minimize trading volume to Yobit by disabling other currencies.
I think it took some time for your coins to be exchanged. (Every exchange sites needs minimum trading volume to trade)

I think you'd better manually withdraw bitcoin and exchange it manually because auto exchanging bitcoin has very low demand.
If there's not enough amount to exchange then pool will not send coin to exchange sites. This problems happens at Bitcoin-cash pool. There's no newly mined coins, no amount to exchange.. and so on.

Gridseed is quite old. It was fantastic, low electricity consuming miner at first but these days, it's nearly useless. Even pool doesn't support low difficulty mining because it's just waste of network.
You know there's no CPU miner for bitcoin these days. It's just like that.

Hi,

A couple of questions please :

1. According to my total hashrate from all miners I should be getting around 0.5 Zcoin according to different calculators but the pool is giving me around 0.3 Zcoins/24 hours only .

2. I have unconfirmed balance of 0.32 that has been there for the past 48 hours .

Any explanation would be great, thanks everyone .

Id = 140095

1. You added unconfirmed balances too?
If so, then maybe you are using ccminer? I don't know much about details but some ccminer user's hashrate doesn't match to actual hashrate.

2. Unconfirmed balance will be converted to confirmed when time passes but you will also get new unconfirmed balance by mining.
As newly mined coins are all unconfirmed, you get nearly same amount for unconfirmed forever unless you stop mining.

Hi, Can I transfer ETH to changely.com ? I mean its about 50minutes get you to transfer

I think so. Not sure how they operate but there's no problem with withdrawals.

Daggerhashimoto (ethash) coin pools don't support this feature becasue of miner's protocol.

Hi, Can I transfer ETH to changely.com ? I mean its about 50minutes get you to transfer

Why would you want to transfer to a domain that does not exist / is not in use?
You can withdraw ETH using an ETH address entered on the wallet page. https://ethereum.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=account&action=pooledit

It is not recommended to set your payout address to an exchange address.

becaus I didnt saw the Tax(A 0.001 ETH TX fee will apply) Undecided  And never come back to eth mining to this pool

What do you mean? I'm not familiar with changelly but there's no problem with transactions.
You didn't get coins to your personal local wallet from changelly?

dug up some monero , sent in exchange for Zcatch , coins disappeared ,the balance monero 0 0 zcatch too , where to look for coins?

You can check txid from Monero pool's Transactions page.

We have asked this before here and I was looking for the post to show you but couldn't find it. Still, I am not 100% sure.
@miningpoolhub, can you confirm whether setting diff in password field also works on the ethash ports?

Ethash ports don't support starting diff hints because all ethash ports are static diff.

Is there anyway to monitor online Workers or anything similar while mining on Algo switch mining (Port 17XXX)?

Actually there's no simple way to monitor several coins.
I'll add one dashboard page for all workers soon.

I'm mining the last days lyra2z. My card hasrate  is   about 2900 kh/s, I can send logs. However, at the dashboard never, ever, appears a hashrate above 2000, or at the worker page in zcoin I never get above 2000k either.  If I check at whattomine (coin's tab) I  should be getting about 0.01230 BTC/day, and I'm not even getting half that.

What's going on here?. I'll continue to min a bit more to avoid any block finding effect, if things continue like that and I don't find an explanation I'll move somewhere like suprnova or whatever.

You can't mine BTC so you would have had to have converted to BTC in error.

The pool is intended not to be used as an exchange.

As it's not a bitcoin mining pool, that would just be like an exchange. If I'm not mistaken this pool typical uses bitrexx, and useless MPH struck a sweet side deal with bitrexx, he loses money on exchanging as he has a .2% fee while bitrexx charges more.

Get rid of the hub workers; you don't need to do anything with them.

Just mine to port 17023 and it will switch between Zcash and Zclassic.

Question about exchange fee.

On the "Auto Exchange Coin" page is says..
"Additional 0.2% Fee is applied. (Txfee for sending from Mining Pool Hub to exchange site is included in this fee)"

My question is "additional" to what, what other fees are applied - or is this just a symantic error and it is only a 0.2% fee for auto-exchanging coin.

Thanks, I did take the 0.9% pool fee as read, but thought there may be an additional transaction/exchange/conversion fee on top of that.

If it's just a 0.2% fee for MPH to do the exchange from coin-to-coin then it is slightly (very slightly) cheaper to let MPH do the exchange than for me to manually transfer coin to an exchange and do it myself - it's also a bit less hassle than if I had to do it manually.
