@miningpoolhub

Trying to get litecoin exchanged to Ethereum, it just sits on the Auto Exchange wallet indefinitely. Other coins go through just fine...

Any news on fixing the european hub servers resolving to IP's with over 250+ ms from Europe?

I'm new to miningpoolhub and just wanted to simply mine one coin zcl.  So I created an account and went to the zcl pool and added a wallet address.  I'm mining with SMOS so I followed their config settings:

--server us-east.zclassic.miningpoolhub.com --port 20570 --user account(i filled in my account name).$rigName --pass x

Switched my rig to this mining group in smos which connected to miningpoolhub and started mining.

In miningpoolhub it says no need to create a worker?  I guess if my user account matches it will create one?

I did this and waited a few minutes but saw nothing - no worker, no hashrate, no balance or credits.

What didn't I do right here?

You don't need to create the worker as the pool will do it automatically but that can take a lot of time, however your shares are still counted towards your balance. But you can manually create your workers (I did) and usually within a few minutes you get hashrate/shares info.

Dear fellow ethos amd mph users Smiley

Do any of you managed to use multi-algo switch on ethos using AMD cards (12XXX ports I guess?)? I would really appreciate local.conf, sgminer.stub.conf examples and if necessary MPH website settings. I am beating my brains out but I could only managed to use multi-coin single algo on MPH (17XXX ports) :S

I added other algos to the sgminer.stub.conf and it kind of worked, but the problem is wherever the pool changes the algo/coin the miner restarts, and the GPU powertune level resets to 7. That made the cards overheat and throttle, and honestly I didn't see much gain in profitability, since it made the miner overheat, you also have a small 0.2% fee for exchange and ethash/ethereum is the most profitable anyway... So I just went back to mining only ETH and ocassionaly ETC.

Managing powertune levels and temps via miner is not recommended in ethos, it messes with their fan control etc.

Waited about 20 minutes and nothing is showing up.  No hashrate in dashboard and in worker it's marked X in active.Huh??

Double check if you have everything setup correctly on the mining software, 20 mins is usually more than enough to see an update on the dashboard/worker status.

I changed to the other server url and now its working - hashrate is low compared to what smos is reporting - 3050 avg in smos vs 2350 on mph

The pool only reports effective hashrate there's usual some difference, sometimes it's lower, sometimes it's higher. Best way is to look at earnings per 24h not hashrates.

does anyone else have a much higher ping to us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com and the us-east.zclassic.miningpoolhub.com servers? I was pinging around 40ms and now for the last day or so it's up to around 200ms...  Is it the server intel patch? or just the servers being overloaded? or ME!!!!??
Nope, not only you.
I had steady 43ms for the past two weeks. Left for 4 days; now back and have acceptance times in 2-5-hundreds ms also.
That is on US-East @ BTG and Equihash servers. And I think, Intel patch announcement came later than this happened/changed

Ok thats good to know.. If its a server issue i'm sure it's being worked on and will be fixed sooner than later.

16437 ms!
WOW!!!

Does MPH have some IP banning policies? I cannot connect to any cryptonight-hub MPH pools from several rigs that use one internet connection (one router).
But some rigs from other locations are working fine.

These problem rigs from one router that cannot connect to MPH are mining happily with other pools.

Couple of questions or issues I am dealing when switching to mining hub
Do not worry, this is just a curious mind testing it for a month, I am sure it will end up ok.

Hub Workers are not inherited to coin workers
If I want to see my hub worker working I have to add the worker to each coin and then open the workers tab on a coin level.
I have even found instances where my expected hash rate was missing more than 30% and no coin was attributed that hashrate.
Very annoying considering coin switching feature requires a bit more trust than pool mining.

Hub Workers do share difficulty
I wonder if there is a reason to reset difficulty every time we receive a share from a different coin.
Even after an hour I did not receive difficulty I expected from Equihash mining last couple of months.

Difficulty hints mint be useful, but I find it hard to calculate them
Miner reports the difficulty as a hex and I am asking right now if there is a option to calculate the float value you expect in password.

I would really appreciate a proper worker dashboard with hashrate for each coin and 5 minutes/hour/day values

Overall I like the fee+donation options, I like the idea of consolidating miners. Looking forward to payouts and overall experience.
