If Segwit2x miners manages to kill original chain with a 51% attack, Bitcoin will eventually lose the crypto throne. My bet is on Litecoin.

Does the Lite coin allows to stake using windows / Linux wallet. Currently I am holding my coins in exchange and I am not quite happy to keep the coins in the exchanges.

Litecoin is not PoS coin, it is a PoW coin (Proof of Work) and it can only be mined using script altgoritm! So, the answer is no, Litecoin cannot be staked/minted Smiley

There is always a lot of wallets to hold your coins outside of an exchange though to be on the safe side! https://litecoin.org/ to get the full or lite wallet!

Thanks for sharing the information, just thinking is it safe to leave the coins at exchanges?

You're welcome! It is better to store your LTC in a desktop wallet, and besides Litecoin Core wallet, you may use Litecoin Electrum wallet, because it syncronize faster than Litecoin Core https://electrum-ltc.org/

Ltc used to be 0.02 BTC now it is 0.008 BTC dont know what is happening to LTC and other alts. When they will increase

USD price wise, you wont be in a loss...
its just BTC value increasing and people selling ltc to get that value

Litecoin is best bet to be on in all this segwit 2x drama. If forks doesn't happen then too LTC will be biggest gainer as price has declined and will be x2 easily in few weeks. I am interested in coins on Bitcoin chain more and erc20 less. LTC is my main focused on after Bitcoin now in this period. It is very cheap now.

What is the date of ICO?

Litecoin has been around since 2011 and there is no ICO
It's a fully POW coin which means it's mineable only on scrypt algorithm by ASIC machines
So stop asking these rubbish questions time and again

I expect LTC to drop heavily in the next week versus bitcoin. Get out now while you have the chance people  Smiley I think the market realized that korean noobs that cannot read pumped this coin and it was the only reason it went up. Litecoin has no innovation (theymos gave it a 0). Pretty funny how sad this coin is. It will probably get another pump after bitcoin fork, but I think long term litecoin is truly doomed  Cheesy

MurrayRothbard77 : Litecoin was so far the only coin after bitcoin I was able to use for e-shop purchase payment.
It may be overvalued, but its certainly not doomed
