It's getting more fishy.  On the login page they claim to use CloudFlare.  I contacted CloudFlare and they say they aren't covered by them.
Well i can verify this, i use FireFox with a addon called noscript, basically its a addon that allows you to control what java scripts run on a web site, if they did have cloudflare on it, it would show up as a java script. And it doesn't.
Icon
I seem to remember that they used to have Cloudflare.  Now it's a data center in Malaysia.

This weekend has been a little more exciting than usual, with the price of Bitcoin falling from $428 to $393 overnight.

This particular price-drop occurred between noon and 18:00 Switzerland time (which is where BTC-Arbs claims to be located). I looked outside during that time-period and can confirm that it was not "overnight".

Thats called fitting to a cover story well to make it believable.

That adds evidence to the story that they are the same people who operated Poker by Proxy, located in Canada.

I'm curious - have the returns been consistent or do they fluctuate? Are there days with small or even negative returns?

They are usually steady up to 2% gains and are never negative!

The negative will be if the whole thing suddenly disappears.  Grin   But I've got money in the pot too and have had no hitches over the last month and a half with deposits, withdrawals, or earnings. Doesn't mean it's not a scam, but no one can definitively say it is either.

Hi all,
I have a close friend who is waiting for an important withdrawal (+30 BTC) since few days (5)... Does any of you heard about btc-arbs not sending BTC at all ?
I already told him that this site did not look like a very serious one and that probably his btc are gone... so no need for such comments. He told me that his account shows the withdrawal request still pending... I'm still hesitating to go on btc-arbs for a small period.

I had a few bucks in btc-arbs.com for a week, but the return really isn't worth the risk, and I withdrew everything this morning.   They claim UP TO 10%, but it hasn't been remotely close to that ever. I think the biggest day they had was only 5%.  At that rate (highest single day) of return you're looking at minimum of 20 days (realistically closer to 40+ days ) to gain the interest of your initial investment.

That's what makes them more legitimate, in my eyes...not every day is going to have a great opportunity for arbitrage. However, they DO use the days (like today) where the exchanges are very close to each other, to rebalance their accounts and prepare for the high volatility days, without needing to wait for wire transfers. So that ends up being a positive. I have seen them miss the chance to capitalize on opportunities because a bunch of cash was tied up in wire transfers.

Where else can you put your Bitcoin where you'll see any kind of passive return? Even if you only managed to average .5% a day, that's better than any savings account you'll find.

correct, i'd be happy with a steady 0.5% interest. The only thing i am worried about it their legitimacy, I risked a small amount of btc just to see what happens but i would not advice putting money in you can't afford to lose.

There's no guarantee that they won't run with the money.

This is interesting. Not sure whether it not to invest so I won't. Just to be safe. Will keep watching, though.

Hi guys, thank you for this topic, I'm hesitating to invest small amount, but my decision is on hold until I see what happened to your friend ashredy. Any news about his withdrawal? Did anyone else have this problem?
