Hi everyone,

my first post Smiley

I started using btc-arbs just a few days ago with 0.5 BTC. Last night i wanted to see the results of yesterday and saw, that the dns could not resolve btc-arbs.com, so i tried using the ip if found over an old dns lookup table and hardcoded the dns -> ip matching in my /etc/hosts file.

The result: I was suddenly able to login (about 01:00 last night) and immediately withdrawed 0.4 of my BTCs to my btc-e account with the message you all know "it takes up to 36 hours...blabla"

Now the point, that might give some of you hope:

In the morning at 6:00 i watched my btc-e account and -> THE 0.4 BTC had arrived.

So, if they were scammers, why would they perform ANY withdraw??

That's good news. Could you please provide the IP address used for that?

Maybe the scammers got scammed?  Angry I still believe they are legit, but I hope they let their clients know something, asap so we know for sure and know if the funds are safe...
Anyway, i don't like to see the "500 internal server error" much longer...

Strange indeed. I received 1.4 BTC from btc-arbs YESTERDAY. If it was to shut it off would make no sense.

yes of course it does not work now anymore, last night there was a dns-resolving problem, not a site-error like now.

I think -only in my oppinion- they switched off the webpage (maybe killed the process or anything equal) and work on a solution for the dns-problems of last night.

But - in my mind - it is a no-go to just reply with a 500 error instead of displaying "work in progress due to security reasons" or anything else and i would take all my btcs of btc-arbs because they don't seem to work in a professional way...

I am sure their 10 employees are working hard on it right now on this bloody damn difficult 500 error.

":D"

Honestly it doesn't really make sense to stop right now like this, even though I have been saying it's a ponzi since the beginning. I do think there could be a chance that the site will be back online, but I don't really know how the average ponzi "stops".

about 33 hours ago i sent them 2 btc...waited for it to post(they say 1-8 hours)

21 hours ago(12 hours later)...i sent them a support ticket...."deposit not showing"

16 hours ago(5 hours later) i received..."sometimes it takes up to 24 hours for it to be credited to your account"

the site was off and on for me throughout the day but haven't seen the 500 error until now. it was just slow earlier...

hopefully it will be back.......................
