I think bitcoin could have exceeded the price of gold because bitcoin is limited to only 21 million, while gold is unlimited and until now gold continues to be mined in various countries in the world. but gold will still be the choice of many people because gold is a precious metal and is different from bitcoin because gold is physical
But you should know that “ nothing is impossible”, probably bitcoin will have the big talk in the future and it’s more likely to replace gold if someday bitcoin is accepted legally in most parts of the world. As you know, bitcoin has just appeared about 9 years ago ( from 2009), it’s really a very short time compared to the appearance of gold in our world. People have trend to approach the convenience, modern gradually. I therefore believe that bitcoin - digital currency will soon surpass gold in the future. Yes we can hope so, I think that the bitcoin price has already trading too much good as compare to gold, people who know about bitcoin are taking more interest in bitcoin as compare to gold, and I hope that in future their interest will continue increasing. |

I believe that bitcoin is underestimated, I do not claim that it should only grow! But I'm sure that the future is for him! cryptocurrency in general, and bitcoin in particular - this is digital gold, many people still do not understand this. I'm sure that in ten years it will be so.
Bitcoin and gold and far away different from each other so I don't think that we can really compare them both. Bitcoin is a digital currency while gold has a physical structure and bitcoin doesn't have that. So I don't think that they have similarities. They are both have potential but I don't think it is fair for them to compare. |

I think this has been said many times. The bitcoin participants saw the benefits of it. However, our job now is to make bitcoins become more popular, as people know more about bitcoin, they will trust it. And replacing bitcoin with gold is just a matter of time.
It should be our first priority to make the price of bitcoin bigger and higher, it is the only way all of us should do with our investment. Gold now is an old investment and we want something new, buying and selling happens with both but we choose the one which is more profitable, according to me bitcoin is the better option as compare to gold, we cannot keep plenty of gold at our home as it will be risky but we can hold big amount of bitcoin in our wallet without any fear of lose. |

I think Bitcoin really has a very bright future as it is the master of all crypto available in the market. It is also considered as the world's fastest growing investment by many and it has tremendous amount of potential to grow in the future. Bitcoin has already surpassed gold in terms of value which itself is a proof of its potential. But it still has to cover a long road if it wants to surpass gold in terms of popularity as without any doubt, gold is the world's most popular investment. Almost anyone and everyone wants to invest in gold and Bitcoin is nowhere that popular. |

This is a very hard thing to happen, because the use of bitcoin is very different from gold, and bitcoin is more used for commercial hype!
Both are rightly said that have different purpose and this will distinguish between both and will have the good potential demand for crypto and gold as well. What crypto does gold cannot do and vice versa. So nothing going to get effected and investing in both will be beneficial. |

There are a lot of new methods to take gold from different substaitions like sand..
And realy - 10% of gold is needed by industry but production of gold is rising.
What is with btc? Production is reducing and wallets are loosing.
Gold - have no idea. BTC - has.

the price of gold is difficult to fall at a distant value and the tendency will continue to increase or remain, bitcoin has created a value that is very good and has even exceeded the profit compared to gold.
but gold is a unique commodity and the country keeps it for foreign exchange reserves for the balance of fiat supply they have. so gold won't change as well as crypto

I do think that bitcoin can surpass gold in the future. Imagine its volatility making its market price and cap to rise in just a couple of hours. How much more when it continuously rise each year?
People interest in crypto currencies is increasing from time to time, in fact bitcoin is giving them a quick profit as compare to gold where we can see a very slight increase even after month some time even after years, therefore most of the people are now giving preference to gold as copper to gold. |

The way Bitcoin has been moving its quite possible that will happen, but it might take a very long time for Bitcoin to be able to stand face to face and beat gold. Why I’m saying is because gold has been around for a very long time and has been a promising stock for investors, so for Bitcoin to come out in just a few years and beat that is impossible, so it will take a very long time or maybe it might never happen. |

bitcoin can exceed the price of gold when the supply of bitcoin has become very limited and bitcoin has become very difficult to obtain so that will make the price of bitcoin very expensive and even beat the price of gold.

According to me now gold has become an old investment and people are no more interested in it. They like bitcoin only for huge profit and proper security I am sure bitcoin will surpass gold very soon. |

Most people believes that Bitcoin is better than gold, I’ve even seen someone say that Bitcoin already left gold in the dust so there is no need to keep on comparing the both of them. But is that true? Though if you ask me I will still say that Bitcoin is better than gold, and assuming I have $100,000 at my disposal and looking for where to invest it then it’s probably going to be Bitcoin, because that’s where I’m sure of making profit from it.
Bitcoin may replace gold in terms of universally accepted medium of exchange. But before that many government must unveil their stand on bitcoins. When more countries will be positive on bitcoins then we can expect about bitcoin to become a new gold.
