I've made more than 20 posts to this thread in a week. I'm not going to respond to every person that asks: "Where's the dev?". If you have something positive to contribute I'm more than happy to respond.

hi dev, stop being inactive spam the thread with a shitload of useless shit so that those coming to get in on a good pump and dump can feel at ease.

Grin anyway, I wanted to ask whether a hardfork for a different cpu algo is planned

It certainly is possible. I have considered the primecoin or memory coin algos, but this is not being planned for the immediate future.

well that is a legitimate question, I don't know the internals of crypto coding but if it can be done maybe it should be a 100% cpu algo should be added so that no one can bitch about anything anymore.

I guess you bought a lot of Myriadcoin but don't be let down. In long term, it will work. Just look at any other coin out there, including DOGE - the price drops over a period of month to depress every investor and miner to make them sell cheap - then someone comes in with waves of pump and dumps, but the price still stays much higher than before

never bought a coin in my life except for a few pumps and dumps but I found that to be too much trouble stress, I'm only mining this coin and stacking it, but I legitimately believe in it I haven't sold 1 coin and won't touch my wallet until I reach 1 MIL except for giveaways and my reddit tipping bot baby Smiley

meanwhile @ reddit I'm tipping everyone I can find in our subreddit Smiley)

8bitcoder - i like to see the dev in the thread every now and then to know they are still active. many coins have had the dev lose interest and disappear.

foodies - this thread is not about you. i get it, you like myriad.

yes I do like it but not because I wanna dump or because I hold a shitload of it, I'm not a big holder I'm just baffled how shitcoins with no inovation get 20gh scrypt mining at launch and trully inovative coins  are barely mined. If I were interested in getting rich from this I would shut it and buy/mine because when it gets in the spotlight and it will its value will soar and I would make alot more because I had alot of time to mine it while it was still under the radar.

This coin is very interesting. So interesting in fact that I stopped renting my hashing power to other people just to mine this coin.

It's very very rare to see a truly innovative coin.  This is one ship no one should miss out on before it sets sail.

Kudo's to the person who came up with this coin.

Wonder why http://myr.poolerino.com/ is down :/ The website and my miners connection to the pool stopped working yesterday afternoon before I went to bed. Switched to mining another coin with my miners but was hoping it would be up by now again. Hope this is just a temp thing and didn't lose my coins that I didn't withdrawal yet.

+1000
Cpu only algo is definitively a must have
Primecoin is a good choice i guess. Memorycoin already has a gpuminer

I think it's a gap somewhere here. The coin is too cheap to be made by with electricity . I think something involving some botnets it's happening here. Someone making too cheap the coins and sell at any price... Any thoughts?

We are still under heavy ddos attack. Even our hoster, who claimed anti.ddos hosting is his business, took us offline (ovh hosting). We are deeply sorry about that.

Edit: we are back online ! hopefully its over. Knocking on wood here.

Someone is forcing the price down with artificial orders on exchanges + people went IRC panic yesterday over the "no more cpu" thing. Since the dev is considering an algo swap, the price is currently undervalued in my opinion. And that is the reason why the price is being forced down too - for massive buy-in and multiplied value over time.

Let me historically mark the price here: 0.0000012
One day, we will laugh (or cry)
