all existing algos should stay. the different algos offer unique arbitrage options.

new cpu-only algos may be added, also scrypt n for gpu afficionados (or something nvidia friendly, like scrypt jane).

so other than hard forking requireing stuff what else would you guys want for the coin ?

Maybe scrypt Adaptive N-factor for non asic users in future? Mr 8bit, is it at all possible?

Any Proof of Work algo should be possible with Myriad.

Most people seem to want a CPU-only algo. In effect a GPU is also a CPU, so there are very few algo's that cannot be ported to a GPU.

Groestl is about 6x faster on a high-end GPU than on a high-end CPU, so it is still CPU minable to a degree.

I'm open to adding a new algo if it brings in a significant new mining community to the coin.

Make a CPU-only algo and get ypool to add it, that would bring in a ton of new miners and buzz.
1. Add CPU algo (Primecoin or RieCoin), remove two GPU algos, we dont need duplicate algos, 1 ASIC, 1 GPU 1 CPU
2. Lower the block reward to 50

Don't you think newcomers would be pissed at those of us who mined when block reward was 1000 if it was lowered to just 50?

50 reward / block is definitely not appropriate with 2 billion coins total circulation.

The most fundamental thing we need is a url that shows current number of coins out there (not just the updating image at the block explorer) so we can get on coinmarketcap.com.

Alright, I will offer a symbolic 2000 MYR to whoever can get this done and get us on coinmarketcap.com. If anyone else wants to join in and raise the bounty, feel free Smiley

I find that at least three gpu algo is fun : you can finetune your mining : this is the coin which I enjoy the most mining.
I am mining solo with two R9 290 : changing between groestl and qubit, while people were mostly on scrypt and later on skein.

if this coin is going for technical perfection, why not also add PoS, with a low holding period? PoS and PoW should co-exist, and PoW pools may also be used as PoS pools.

i am not sure if there is a difference between kgw and diff adjusting every block.

thanks.

this I agree with this the mostest.

nope

most of these were included in the mining info but I took it down since some of the info relied on info from poloniex api and they were lagging the page.

I assume you get a lot of coins, unfortunately I could not get the qubit and groestl sph miner to run on 280x, do you please have the settings to share?
