Yep my friend

cannot help with coding but i can help with marketing

First idea, I would change the tittle for something like this:

[ANN] [MYR] Myriad | SMS Wallet | 1st Multi-PoW | Bittrex - Cryptsy - Poloniex

Proposed Myriadcoin changes

posted 3 hours ago author 8bitcoderMyriad - stickied post

Over the last few months various proposals for changes to Myriadcoin were made here, on bct and on irc. After discussion with Myriad members and developers, the following changes to Myriadcoin are proposed:

1 - Implement auxpow and enable for SHA and Scrypt.

This will allow SHA and Scrypt to be merge minable. It increases the security of the block chain by having high difficulties on the ASIC algo's.

2 - Increase block time from 30s to 60s

This will decrease block chain bloat, give transactions more time to propagate in the networks without too much of an increase in confirmation times.

3 - Modify the chain work calculation to use a geometric mean instead of an arithmetic mean across algos.

There are security advantages to using this method, as previously proposed by MentalCollatz.

4 - Reduce block reward

Cut reward from 500 MYR to 50 MYR per block, with the reward increasing by 1 MYR every two years.

This will reduce the current high inflation in Myriad.
https://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin/comments/3d0ml7/proposed_myriadcoin_changes/

I like this, good idea. Is there a time frame for when merge mining will be implemented?

Why don't you try p2pool? It has the same result in that you'll be mining direct to your wallet, and the skein p2pool is pretty healthy.

You can point your miners at my skein node if you like:

http://mine4free.noip.me:5589.

As the name suggests, there's no fee on my node.

ok thanks i will try that

i have a lot better result is solo

last night (10h mining) i have found 5 good and 3 rejected   on r9 270
and the day before i did even better i found 5 in less than 4h , maybe lucky)

in pool mining  i have now some less the 1 (430myr) in 5h   r9 270 and add 5 cpu's
dificulty is some higher today around 400  it was 250 yesturday i think

i notice i m less payed that the others ??
i notice predicted payout 10-13 myr (it start low at less than 1myr and get up but it s stable now 10-13)
and other one he has some less than double of my speed   and he get 30-40 myr ??

that is unfair
strange ?? it s not working right    i put my r9 on local 1 hour ago, so only cpu's left on pool  but i still getting 10-15 myr

That's the nature of p2pool mining. It can take 12 to 24 hours for payouts per block to build up due to the PPLNS system. It takes time to build up shares in the sharechain. The flipside of this is that you will continue to receive payments for some time after you stop mining, until the shares that you've built up drop off the sharechain.

So it all evens out in the end, with nothing "unfair" about it.

But you're not the first person to cry foul when it comes to p2pool because of this basic misunderstanding, and I apologise for not explaining fully in my previous post.

As a side note (implication of depboy post): p2pool mining will keep giving you MYR even after you shut down your miners.
You might have some benefit specifying difficulty manually. After your login add (for example) +0.0075, this results in slightly higher payout for me.

Any devs out there fancy taking this coin forward?
