I am currently gathering data to add myriad fully to my site(without sha256 though). Would you say those multipliers are correct?

skein hr= 300x scrypt, power 0.8x scrypt
groestl hr= (13-14)x scrypt, power 0.6x scrypt
qubit hr= (7-8)x scrypt, power 0.6x scrypt
see above post, those are not correct for me

scrypt power usage: 350W
skein: 275 (0.78, pretty accurate)
groestl: 215 (0.61, pretty accurate)
qubit: 230 (0.65, somewhat accurate)

Thank you iopq, think I will settle with these, as you will be able to input your own data anyway.

skein hr= 280x scrypt, power 0.8x scrypt
groestl hr= (16)x scrypt, power 0.6x scrypt
qubit hr= (7)x scrypt, power 0.65x scrypt

Hi,

first of all, I post this here because myriadcoin do what I want to achieve, moreless, works with different algos and I don't know where else ask for help...sorry.

I'm trying to modify dogecoin to work with scrypt and scrypt 2048. But I'm stuck...

What I want to do is, by reading a config var algo=0 or 1, dogecoin works with Nfactor 9 or 10 to have a N=2048 or 1024 in scrypt algo. So, the part of reading the var is done, but not the algo part.

I modified scrypt_1024_1_1_256_sp_generic() function on scrypt.cpp changing 1024 to 2048, and 1023 to 2047 inside the function, not the function name, only code, but I think is not enough because after make and launch ./litecoind is not working. What else should I change to have this done??

I also did the get a new genesis block thing, with 1024 all is ok, but with 2048 change is not working...

Some clues will be loved Smiley

Thanks in advance.

that is nice! good work.
But to be able to use it for its max potential, I would have to know how is performing 1 mhs from scrypt at different algos?
Can anyone know any coeficients? Like 1 MHs scrypt = XX skein, YY quibit, ZZ groestl?
Because now I see difficulties on each algo, but I dont know yet how is GPU performing on each algo

skein = 300x scrypt
groestl = 14x scrypt
qubit = 7x scrypt

myriad.theblockexplorer.com
not the case for me

my hash numbers on an R9 290:
830khash/s scrypt
15.2mhash/s groestl (18.3x)
225mhash/s skein (271x)
5.65mhash/s qubit (6.8x - the closest to the estimates)

I posted my auto-switching script on bitbucket:

https://bitbucket.org/iopq/automatic-algo-switcher-for-myriadcoin

I'll probably work on it some more to get the setup out of the code and into a config file later

Non x gpus perform.very differently. Fot example my tests were done on a 280x and on skein I hash better than your results. 230 on average stable, on qubit I get the same as you and on gro I get ~10 mh.

nope

It's the R9 vs. older architecture difference, 280x does better on skein and worse on groestl

hi
i'm mining with 100gh/s sha256 on poolerino. in the statistic in pool i see more then 1000MYR/Day, but when im to count average it is abaut 200myr per day. i mined 34MYR since 4 houers.
Is it normal result or not?
Thanks

Hi all,

can I just say "I love myriadcoin"! Smiley

I have a question for the devs - I run linux headless wallet compiled on debian and I get the source from git to do so.  The "required update" 0.8.99.8 does not seem to have an easily identifiable tag in git...

/src/myriadcoin$ git checkout master
Switched to branch 'master'
/src/myriadcoin$ git checkout 0.8.99.8
error: pathspec '0.8.99.8' did not match any file(s) known to git.

Sad

Can I request that version numbers of stable releases (especially when hard forks are involved) are reflected in the git tags?  Either that or have a separate note in the ANN message with the git tag of the current stable release of the wallet software?

Anyway, for my immediate problem - which tag should I be checking out to build the new wallet?

Thanks!

Thanks for the support and suggestions.

You can use the tag "Myriad-v0.8.99.9" to get the latest version (or "Myriad-v0.8.99.8" for the hard fork version).

230 Mh/s for Skein ? What are your clocks ?
On def clock 1000Mhz I get around 202 with -g 2, with -g 1 little less - eg 200.

I'm doing a research project on coin distribution for both older and new coins. I'm interested on gathering some data for top addresses and how much of the coins the top100 have. This along with the number of people (addresses) actually holding any amount of coins.

I have some info from bitinfocharts on a few coins but I really do need some data on other coins along with less exposed or new ones.

If anyone knows an explorer with this feature drop a line.

I've been testing it for a day and it seems like it works. One problem though: when I start another algo and the pool is down cgminer doesn't allow api access for some reason. So I can't close it unless I kill the process.

I have created a rough draft of a community guide/protocol for future "algorithm switching events". I need the community's input on protocol specifics so we can reach consensus on what to do long before it's needed. I think this is the most appropriate solution and it may be used for reference material.
