now we are talking. Lots of hype , i am back to this coin until the hype is over. Should make some good profit. I think price wouldnt go very very high because too many bag holders since beginning and all waiting for this pump and halving still months away. Nevertheless there is profit to be made.

Greetings,

A brainwallet is now available for Myriadcoin:

http://cryptap.us/myr/brainwallet

This gives you the ability to store MYR in your mind. You can create a wallet, and build and sign transactions on the "Transactions" tab. Once you have a raw transaction signed you can use a companion service "pushtx" to push the raw signed transaction onto the Myriadcoin network:

http://cryptap.us/myr/pushtx

Please note, a brain wallet is only as secure as the pass-phrase used to generate it. Please use strong pass-phrases!

Feedback is welcome.

Edit:
The explorerino.com block explorer appears to not be updating for the time being... Therefor the "transactions" tab will not work correctly. As soon as exploerino.com comes back transactions should work fine.

Hey guys. I'm seeing good volumes with steady progress in price. That's all a good recipe for even higher prices.

I'm glad to be a new investor in this Myriad Coin.

Been mining at around 68MH/s (groetsl) via http://eup2pool.cryptopools.com:3333/static/ for about 1 hour but my address still doesn't show up with acive miners... do i need to do something special to get it working or something? mined many many other coins before, almost always p2p and never had to wait this long to get my workers visible in the list.

if you're sending shares and they're accepted you're mining and will get paid, make sure you put the right address in your username field. it's p2pool so it's better Smiley

P2P is better indeed... but i'm a bit uncertain about this one... Address is correct, even if incorrect address it would show up in the p2p pool, shares are submitted, redject rate is around 20%

is there a Myriad Coin p2p pool finder, i would like to find a pool with lower ping?

unfortunately no, this needs to be discussed with p2pool node owners because I don't have the hardware to run a node so that I could run a finder too.

Thanks mate!
Would be cool if they could set that up, changed my settings to not submit stales, my address still not on the list WTF

I've had this before, I was using the wrong switch to run sgminer.  Give me a few minutes to check what I have now...

Edit: Sorry if this like teaching you to suck eggs but if you run sgminer from the command line you need to type:
    sgminer -k myriadcoin-groestl -o......
And if from a config file you need:
   "kernel" : "myriadcoin-groestl",
In there somewhere.

I hope that helps  Grin

Edit 2: I use usp2pool (although I have also used the eu one as well) and I rate them 10/10  Wink

I left a miner earlier and only one block with credits from pool. But there shouldve been a ton more. Now no pool credits me anything?

Something up right now?

scrypt is gaining a lot more blocks. Before wallet update it was much lower and all algo is quite equal in block generation. Right now scrypt is getting 21.1% and its growing. I saw it was below 21% couple of days ago. This goes to show that with enough hashrate , 1 algo can take over the other algo. I bet if scrypt were to double or triple in hashrate, it will gain a lot more % in block generation. With scrypt asic around the corner , we will see this coin become a semi scrypt coin

The difficulty should rise and equilibrium will return, such is the nature of myriadcoin. (At least that's how I understand it anyway  Grin)

So only 1 EU P2peer pool for groetsl algo and that ons is not even functioning correctly... Darm Sad

Are my shares getting stolen from cryptopools p2p ? Workers look OK, they receive work, submit shares, etc...

yeah the myr groestl p2pool was made and is kept private by ahmed_bodi that's why his are the only nodes.

Wtf why would he not share?? Is he a scammer? Any other stolen shares reported there?

hmm? they are functioning correctly

Hey guys, I just had a quick question. Does Cudaminer support Skein? If I look at this page then it also mentions cuda, but on the cuda thread it doesn't mention skein anywhere.
