Well we now have an Ad running for people to join us on the forums here, and its advertising the FPS.

Its at the bottom of CryptoSandwich in the footer.

This should help get some awareness. During the next beta, I need a favor from you guys
that are playing. Please record some game footage, at least 30 seconds - 1 minute. Upload
the files for the videos and post the links for me so I can download them. These will help me
out a whole lot. The current ad has no actual gameplay footage, its like battlefield or call of
duty in the current one and that doesn't help out to showing were original. Thanks.

Also when the game is launched let's all make an effort to keep the servers full ourselves until the population picks up as word spreads. I will be in there everyday after work if Bter give me my bloody coin2 back.

I have over 70,000 coin2 sitting in limbo on bter waiting to be processed for withdrawal. From what i can tell, it seems if you try to withdrawal over a certain threshold the transaction doesn't process. Im slowly attempting to withdraw the rest of my coins from bter now. the withdrawals i attempted that didn't work were 33436.4863, and 43535.0352. the highest withdrawal i have  made from bter is 21659.1417 which was a few days ago and that went through fine. I have submitted a support ticket to bter and am waiting for any response. Thought it was safe to withdraw my coins as i sent a test withdrawal and it worked fine, but sending that big amount fucked it up i guess, sucks....

Hi guys,
As I stated before I like this coin and more than the coin itself, I like the community around it.
I tried to do my share with this coin, buy when it was up as value, sell cheap, spread the coin through donations, involving friends and people that never before in their life had a single digital coin, watched the posts and supporting the best that I could. I’m not a big bag holder (a couple of thousand coins) so I won’t get rich in any case if this coin goes “wild” 
IMHO moving from centralized currency to digital currency and taking away the power from the system is just simple EVOLUTION.
Now we need a REVOLUTION. I stand behind this coin and believe it can do just that: REVOLUTION!
Still, I think we need to do more, make this coin “touch” more and more people.
While a game can attract some attention and raise the value of the coin is only appealing to people that are in to games and FPS (don’t get me wrong I, myself I’m a FPS person  Grin ).
What I have in mind is a little larger than this.
Here are some thoughts:
1)   Redesign the web site and  make it more friendly, put there information’s & projects spread the word to people that don’t go to bitcointalk.org on regular basis but are familiar with internet
2)   Translate it in as many languages as possible (Did you know that more than 80% of the people navigating internet do not speak English? They prefer websites in their own language. It’s my daily job know this kind of things   Grin )
3)    Appeal to people that are interested in things other than games
Create maybe something like a website C2 sponsored that takes care of cats and dogs (maybe something like feed/ save/ get your own pet using C2). People love animals and would love the idea of saving a pet specially using C2. This can bring onboard media persons/attentions that can promote this coin, and the idea’s that we stand behind.
4)   Create a C2 foundation and chose some causes to fight for ….
5)   Create a board of administration that is not hidden behind pseudo-names. Get people understand that we really stand behind these actions and we are not hiding. (maybe not so appealing for dev’s but I would love to see this for the first time on a coin)
Remember these are just some wild thoughts and suggestions and are not to be taken in any other way. But I would love to see some things put in to practice.   Maybe others can contribute here with other crazy ideas. We never know what can come out of this.  Don’t judge to hard!
But IMHO, we need to relay more and more people around this coin that are not connected to the crypto currency community and make this coin a people coin.
I know it’s a long post but thank you for having the patience to read it (if you did this Grin)
Thanks

You do know we have our names out in public on the Coin2 facebook page right? You can spot us pretty much easily, but we also want our privacy, myself, if this goes big, I don't want media attention.. My name I want known is the one I post under. You want my name though, its Brian Gaudinier.

I've started steering away from BTER and trying to get closer to exchanges that seem to be reliable. After the whole exchange hacking/stealing incidents, it's better to keep your coins somewhere you know it's going to be safe.

My withdrawals from bter have been resolved. Although its still weird that only those bigger amounts were the ones that got stuck processing. We should be on mintpal in no time though.

Best way to save your coin is holding in wallet and transfering to exchange when you need or how much you need.
In your wallet also if your device (Laptop, Computer) id safe then your coin is safe.

50000 c2 still missing for me. We really need to get this sorted before the game is released and the word spreads. If a lot of people turn up and buy and lose coin2 then the damage could be irreversible publicity wise.

I got a reply from bter saying they are talking to coin2 so hopefully they find what is causing it.

my withdraws from Bter are normal, and it is just a little slow to withdraw C2.
