Haha, very nice to see some activity here.
I always felt this project had some of the most potential and it just got lost in a see of shit coin ico's that was happening in '14.
I will throw some hash at the mining pool, I love EDUcoin.

You get a reliable network and your coin ends up in more hands. I'd also favor a coin reduction maybe 10:1. imho, If this coin is to be used for education then it should incorporate as many technologies as possible. for starters, EDUcoin could serve as a secure on-campus currency at universities and high schools and also provide a depository for the student databases. just thinking out loud. thanks, john |

There is a lot more coming, soon there will be a new thread, website, wallet, coin etc. We are also speaking about the coin swap and the coin reduction and we agree with you that that needs to be fixed |

So, a lot is happening honestly. We have a soft goal of August 1st for a new launch (however, for my own safety, August 15th is also in the cards). We are working super hard to try and get the last kinks worked out. Around that time there will be a new ANN thread and everything will be explained in much more detail. In short however everything is being revamped. We have a new wallet and an entirely new coin. We have lowered the coin supply and changed the Algo. All of this will be explained in great detail very very soon. There will be a coin swap program so that owners of the original coin will still have their fair share of the new coin, and there will be plenty of opportunities for people without coinage to acquire the new coin! Please feel free to PM me or hop in our slack. Otherwise stay the lookout we will be updating very very soon! |
