Wallet working fine now, deleted all but wallet.dat and conf - started fresh, works a treat now!

Nop. I'm not the owner of chickenstrips. Chickenstrips was the first piggy pool and the one I worked with before launch, that's why I listed them as official.
The dev in charge of it will be online any minute, now.

EDIT: Seems like the problems with chickenstrips are solved. I recommend for miners to distribute among other pools!
