Hey guys, just wondering if the KGW implementation in PIG needs fixing based on the time warp exploits that have been found. Or, implement DGW instead?

Sorry, missed that! I thought the patch was to implement basic KGW, not to implement the KGW fix. Nice job.

Changed the title and I've been reading on this algo thing. If we change I think X11 is the way to go.
Another thought is to consider POS, that seems really popular now, it could also teach the kids the concept of 'earning interest' and saving ... This would seem to also better secure the network with such a low net hashrate

POS might be a good idea, we need to discuss it further but I'd like to finish the current projects first. About the PiggyStore. I was thinking about starting off with 2 products between kids t-shirts, custom monopoly games, iphone cases, hoodies, mugs, clocks, calendars or bags. What would you guys choose?

I think it would have a greater impact if new projects are released gradually opposed to all at once. The advantage of a slow release schedule is twofold: Firstly it will build the impression of continual sussecive innovation for this coin and reinforce the appearance of a dedicated active community. Secondly when releasing new projects into the wild it is far better to focus on one at a time in terms of new service expectation managment, platform scalability and general frontline support.
I believe one of the most important things for this coin (given its specific niche) it to provide real world uses for the currency that will be applicable to children. Getting (at first) small independent sweet shops, toy stores and potentially child oriented online goods vendors on board will be essential - as no child will be interested in some numbers on screen unless they can use those numbers to get things they want.

We have a lot of things coming up and I'm not so sure how to launch them (temporarily speaking). We are gonna be launching: -Web wallet; -Android wallet; -Piggy Vouchers; -Piggy Foundation; -A little remake on the Hot Piggy page design; -PiggyStore! What do you guys suggest, choose a week and launch one project each day, launch everything at once, launch the ones that are ready now? Ohh and btw about the PiggyStore. I was thinking about starting off with 2 products between kids t-shirts, custom monopoly games, iphone cases, hoodies, mugs, clocks, calendars or bags. What would you guys choose? Good question ... I think launching in steps would be the best bet, maybe even just 1 a week, then do a writeup on the main blog and hopefully one of these will get picked up by the media. It's hard to know which items would do well, maybe iphone/android cases since most everyone has a smartphone and the kids t-shirts. Just curious what demographic piggycoin would appeal too? I really applaud you guys effort, most coin devs do no where near this amount of support development, even some of the bigger name coins. Maybe need to brainstorm how to get a mediabuzz about the coin or do some PR stunt to get the name out there. I was thinking once most of the above is live, I'd do a reddit ad campaign targeting either parenting or teenagers?

Testing the shop. Look at all those cheap prices! Good question ... I think launching in steps would be the best bet, maybe even just 1 a week, then do a writeup on the main blog and hopefully one of these will get picked up by the media.

I thought about the week thing too, maybe launch one thing each day? Has you can see we will offer iphone cases, i'll add galaxy cases too. The PR thing is the hardest thing to do, we need to prepare something big to get the name out there, I think that's one of the things that can project us. And a reddit campaign would be awesome! Target parents and kids subreddits.
