Unfortunately, due to this trend of the market, many investors now prefer to keep buying instead of selling. Because many people who enter to raise their handicrafts have to lose their hands and withdraw from the market. This is also creating a negative ad for this market.

I think that the reason is that there are less risks if to invest in coins and wait until the price normalizes and the market will become green. To my mind, this is possible in the nearest future

Holding quality coin is the best shot at long term profit. This strategy has worked again and again in cryptocurrency trading and investing, people have started realising how important it is to hold!

Trading is a great tool for making good money. But I'm sorry to sell coins and lose money. I plan to invest separately on trading and on hold.

Today it is the most optimal and best tactic for saving your money. Sooner or later the price of most coins will grow and then we will take profit.

A good trader knows that how much good to trade and earn more bitcoins but their are users who are not traders and for them holding is the good option. But if anyone wants to learn trading then they can first join some altcoins bounty and earn free coins and then start trading them in altcoin exchange so this way you can learn how to trade and even if you make loss it wont affect your investment as this are free coins.

Very true actually. It is important that crypto traders learn to trade. A part from the fact that too many persons may prefer to just buy and HODL probably to make more profit on  the long run, it is more ideal that one learn crypto trading for the purpose of learning the skills involve so as to become an outstanding personality in the crypto world.  I understand that if one does well in trading, he can make good money within short while like you stated in your comment. I guess the reason why too many persons out there are HOLDING is probably because the current worth of their coin is around their capital or below it and cannot afford to sell below or around it so they are left with the option of just HOLDING pending when it improves.

However, your opinion is quite an interesting one.

Its a time to hold coins because  nowadays cryptocurrency is going down, so its better to hold instead of selling the coins.  So if you are having coins then hold them for some days when market going upwards then sell them. You will get better profit.

Trade can bring not only profit, but also serious losses, even trade requires skills and serious knowledge. Many people who write on the forum work or do business and earn more money than they could earn by trading.

No offense, but I think holding coins at this bear market doesn't any sense. Why is everyone becoming the crypto holder? From the Legendary to a newbie, most of the people suggest to hold, But why? Yes, I know holding coin may give a bug rewards in future because I was a holder too. I had 15K USD, and my all of USD becomes less than 4K USD in front of my eyes. I just keep checking my wallet and every time my feelings were the same " sucks". Are you holding to be a millionaire like some people who bought bitcoin at 5 USD or less price and sold in more than 10K USD?

I did not hold for lose my capital. Did you? Then why you still holding and losing your money. Please kindly learn to trade. By trading your coins, in this bear market, you can make a lot of money within a few days to months.

I sold my all coins in the last month when bitcoin huts 8400 USD, and then I keep continue trading. In this one month, I made more than 2200 USD Profits. Now I had all of past holding coins with extra 2200 USD Profit.

If you can't trade or if you totally newbie here, then you may keep holding. But at least I suggest learning how to trade. This is my personal opinion. You may follow it or not. Best of luck.

Thank You.
I completely agree. For a long time I myself just kept my coins. And with more and more losing their value. Then  began to trade and made a profit.

Hold is also an investment option for long-term investors or do not like to trade every day! Search for altcoin or tokens to invest in. Hope to achieve high profits after several years without regard to the short-term fluctuations!

I do not think so, because in 2017 a lot of people have sold their coin cheap (though profitable), but after their prices continue to rise, they think that hold coin always brings profit, a stupid thought

We know that no one want to sell their coins without a better profit, based on current situations, this is the right time for the investment not to sell the coins. You need to have better knowledge when it comes to trading. Most of them are afraid of crypocurrencies as it may die. You need to trust this wonderful technology also need patience as well.

What they are afraid of is true, and for all types of existing investments, as you buy a home, it is always risky if there are some disadvantages. With crypto too, the great technology here is the blockchain, not the altcoin

I think this is due to instability in the market. After all, many keep thinking that tomorrow they will shoot and they will become rich. This is the right of everyone. How much to keep and what to buy.

Yes, on small races in the price it is possible to earn much more. The story of bitcoin may not happen again. But I think a couple of manets should be kept in your wallet and frozen for several years.

I think holding a coin for long time has its own advantages and disadvantages and it all depend on the coin. Some coins have great potentials and deserved to be hold for long period.

all those who are now actively beginning to trade will lose very well in the future because to me each whale specifically wants to make it so that everyone starts trading now and stopped holding coins

I think that now there is really no other option how to keep your coins in the long run. You can also trade, but if you have never done this before and do not trade, then it will be very dangerous.

Most people that HODL most especially at the current market dispensation are not really HODLers but the fear of selling cheap which will end up at loss for them.

Holding is not an offence and to me, its a good idea, but whenever we want to hodl, it will be good we do it reasonable. Any coin you intend holding, try to do your research into it, to avoiding holding a coin that does not have any further development in it today
