Well, of course if you go to the stock exchange you have to learn at least the simplest indicators to know when to enter the market and when not, and I also agree that to keep now is not the best idea

Now a new wave of people who have invested for a long time because they think that the market is at the support level and soon there will be growth, but most likely we will see another drop and the next wave of long-term investors  Cool
The mistake of these investors is to keep everything in one coin. Because of these investors are in the HODL or sell in the negative. Panic rules the market, greed controls the head.  Wink

Thanks for sharing, j think you are very correct in this aspect, the best way to go about it is to be swing trading your tokens instead of just holding it, if everybody could do this, it would also help in increasing liquidity of the coin and the price as well.

Holding is still the safest bet out there, if people aim for long term they don't have to worry about all the fluctuations so they don't get desperate, just wait for the final outcome and retrieve their profits.
Even it is the safest bet when it comes in investment but once you surpass the right time to sell it out it will become nothing because you lose a chance to gain huge income. I think the best to do right now is hold your token for long term while doing scalping.

It is obvious. With the current bearish crypto market, it would not be strategic to sell your cryptos. Everyone is waiting for the market correction and have a better deal when selling their hodlings. I hope it would be anytime soon. I have been holding also for quite some time.

The answer is because they believe holding for a long period of time can make a profit. Someone who has a lot of free time is definitely holding and trading, but I'm sure more people holding than trade

because the value of asset is going down, ex when i'm buying SNT in 3000 sat now as you can see the price is down to 500 sat, i don't want sell them at 500 sat, the best way is keep hold the asset until price growup again

No offense, but I think holding coins at this bear market doesn't any sense. Why is everyone becoming the crypto holder? From the Legendary to a newbie, most of the people suggest to hold, But why? Yes, I know holding coin may give a bug rewards in future because I was a holder too. I had 15K USD, and my all of USD becomes less than 4K USD in front of my eyes. I just keep checking my wallet and every time my feelings were the same " sucks". Are you holding to be a millionaire like some people who bought bitcoin at 5 USD or less price and sold in more than 10K USD?

I did not hold for lose my capital. Did you? Then why you still holding and losing your money. Please kindly learn to trade. By trading your coins, in this bear market, you can make a lot of money within a few days to months.

I sold my all coins in the last month when bitcoin huts 8400 USD, and then I keep continue trading. In this one month, I made more than 2200 USD Profits. Now I had all of past holding coins with extra 2200 USD Profit.

If you can't trade or if you totally newbie here, then you may keep holding. But at least I suggest learning how to trade. This is my personal opinion. You may follow it or not. Best of luck.

Thank You.

I totally agree with you, trading could be quite profitable as said by many traders, we really need to learn the skills to trade,so we don't get burnt, understanding the market trend, when to buy, and also when to sell and take profit, but most times you think it is time to buy the dip, only for the dip to go dipper , so i really think before trading, one should acquire the skills.
Talking about holding, i think if the coins are gotten now, in this bear market, one can just sell of but if it was gotten at bull market ,the best is still to hold and wait for it to return to the bull market, before one can sell else u loose more of your capital.

A huge number of people went at the peak of popularity during the strongest bull rally in the history of Bitcoin, this led to the fact that now their assets are 2-3 times less than they were, and all they have to do is hold, because not everyone has the experience and skills for trading.

Some peoples capital has declined ten times. Of course, nobody wants to sell at a loss so everyone starts to HODL cryptocurrency until better times. Many people sold it and become disappointed with the market

Some talk about different things here. It is not the same to lose money by 2-3 times and 10 or more. In the first case, you can somehow trade, in the second you do not make up for losses in the near future, until the market recovers.

I will keep the coins I believe in, especially if their prices have fallen significantly, with the exception of some small or unexpected expenses. The bull market will return someday, as the crypto community does not stop for a minute.

Because everyone is holding their coin because they want to gain a huge profit that's why people is becoming a holder. Holding is the key to gain a huge profit, but sometimes holding will lost all your profit. So it is your choice how you will handle your coin, and also in choosing coins.

I would be more surprised by this question in a growing market, but when the market is falling, this question loses its value and meaning, because only a fool would sell now in minus,if you understand what later will still be growth, after some time will profit,of course there are risks but for me it is better to keep Hope( than a penny in purse)

there is no other reason to sell unless we need money quickly. Even though the market conditions are bad and our coins go down it's not a reason we can use to sell our coins because sales will only make us lose, so many people prefer to wait for the market to recover.

Hope for a future that still exists. Now trade is a very dangerous, and well ... It’s just hope, maybe for December, maybe for January. But it is not lost yet.
