Woo-ho! In Russia it's called "to create an elephant out of a fly".

https://www.rt.com/op-edge/345996-russian-sub-uk-media/

Quote
But back to this week’s version of the “Hunt For Red October.” Even the UK Defense Secretary, Michael Fallon, got involved. He remarked: “This shows that the Navy is maintaining a vigilant watch in international and territorial waters to keep Britain safe and protect us from potential threats.”

Meanwhile, the commander of the British ship apparently “shadowing” the sub, one Daniel Thomas, claimed that “locating this submarine was a combined effort with NATO allies and shadowing such units is routine activity for the Royal Navy.”

Quote
“Once again, an effective, skilled, and technologically advanced Russian submarine force is challenging us,” Vice Admiral James Foggo III, commander of the US 6th Fleet, wrote in the June issue of the US Naval Institute’s magazine, Proceedings. “Russian submarines are prowling the Atlantic, testing our defenses, confronting our command of the seas, and preparing the complex underwater battlespace to give them an edge in any future conflict.”

However, that's how it was sailing in the international waters:

Quote
What actually happened was that the Russian vessel was traveling “up top” (ie. not hiding, but fully visible) and in international waters. In other words, a small child with binoculars traveling by ferry could spot it, without “a combined effort with NATO allies,” or even “Action Man” figures for that matter. Which makes one wonder about the competence of Officer Thomas and how such an obvious nincompoop ever achieved such a high rank in the British Navy. Unless The Sun fabricated the quote, of course, which wouldn’t be a huge surprise, given their past form.

To make things even easier for NATO’s super sleuths, the Russian sub was accompanied by a tug boat. On Wednesday, Moscow’s Defense Ministry released a statement confirming that the vessels were moving from the Arctic to Russia’s Black Sea base in Sevastopol. Anyone with access to a map and a pencil could easily figure out that passing the English Channel, which is perfectly legal, is the fastest route.

The top-notch new Frigate Admiral Grigorovich arrived to Sevastopol after a month at sea from its construction and testing site in Baltics.

Video: http://www.vesti.ru/doc.html?id=2763566

Among the first to come aboard was the great-grand-daughter of the last Naval minister of the Russian Empire, whose name the Frigate carries.

During the whole voyage, the Frigate was escorted by the British HMS Iron Duke and the American USS Donald Cook (aka Donald Duck), as well as by Polish, French and Spanish vessels. (Curious, are we?)  Cool

What a joke this Fallon is, the threat is not real at all, its a very dangerous game they are playing.
They in the west demonize Russia, when in fact the real threat comes from Nato and all its allies.
Simple really, but the thick heads are more interested in oneupmanship also the money game.

Oh yes and the western media lies through and through all the time, but we who live here can see right through it.
We the people of the UK are not as thick as our government think we are.

They are telling lies constantly, so much that we take no notice of what they spew anymore.

Those on board brit subs and ships don't even get told of the games, they think every time the alerts and Klaxons sound, its the real thing so mistakes can happen.

And its gone.

It became known that terrorists from the Crime-Tatar Battalion of Chelebedjukhan attempted to conduct a terrorist act in the Kerch strait. Isljamov (US-sponsored Crimea-Tatar "activist", who took part in "food blockade" of Crimea) initiated the act, and bought for the terrorists an old fishing boat.

They were going to let 60 steel cables á 20m each float just below the surface, with the aim of damaging the propellers of the ferries that cross the strait and sabotaging the holiday season.

Luckily Isljamov bought too cheap a vessel, which got a motor stop en route from Azov sea and had to be rescued by Russian border patrol.

http://svpressa.ru/politic/article/151467/

One of the terrorists, Abjazimov, was questioned. He gave over video records and details. He's been released from criminal persecution following article 208, which gives amnesty to members of the terrorist organisations, who voluntarily give themselves up, and have not committed any other crime.

Don't get me wrong... Ukraine is worst than Russia in my perception... But will the Ukrainians ever accept the new reality? Secondly this is typical of the good work of Putin... Why the fuck he had to taint his very positive influence on Russia with this disastrous Syrian adventure?!? Anyway it's not the topic...

But still to comeback to the topic, how to bring magic back to Crimea? Legalize weed in crimea... And watch it boom... Or it will mostly stay functional.

Ukrainians?
Citizens torture each other, kill each other and even throw bombs on their own cities. This is the new reality of Ukraine.
All of them have Ukrainian citizenship, despite the constant push of discrimination in media (Seperatists, Pro-EU etc)

I would say old reality (maybe the bombing part is new)... The deepness of greed in the new republic is beyond belief... Like if there was no tomorrow, like if life as a nation could be sacrificed for a profit...

But still Ukrainians are next door... Will they ever accept to have lost a part of Ukraine? There perception... You know empathy... How does the other side think...

A referendum (in some countries synonymous with a plebiscite — or a vote on a ballot question) is a direct vote in which an entire electorate is asked to vote on a particular proposal. This may result in the adoption of a new law.

‘Chaos in Kiev’: Ukraine trying to distract attention from Donbass conflict, says Russia’s UN rep.
https://www.rt.com/news/355657-un-russia-ukraine-meeting/

Quote
Russian UN representative Vitaly Churkin has said “there is chaos in Kiev,” following the UN Security Council meeting on recent Ukraine-Russia tensions. It comes a day after Russia detained two potential attackers on the Crimean border with Ukraine.

“There is chaos in Kiev. They don’t know what to do with Donetsk. The Minsk agreements are quite clear, but they [Ukrainian authorities] have no political will to implement them,” Churkin told journalists.

Donetsk is located in the eastern Ukrainian Donbass region, one of the hotspots of the current tensions.

"Many Security Council members called for full implementation of the Minsk agreements… This is in line with our stance," the diplomat said.

Instead of doing this, Kiev “distracts attention to other things,” he added.

Churkin also emphasized that the US delegation yet again had attempted to present an “entirely one-sided picture of the events in Ukraine.”

“Despite Washington’s statements about their determination to solve the crisis in Ukraine, unfortunately it never reflects in the UN Security Council discussions. As for the rest, I think that it was useful for us. We provided the information about what happened.”

Before the meeting, Churkin said that what happened on the border with Crimea was “a clear act of sabotage and terrorism. So I am very surprised that they raised the issue with the UN Security Council.”

On Wednesday, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) stated it had foiled a terrorist plot planned by Ukrainian intelligence.

Explosive devices and ammunition used by the Ukrainian Army’s special forces had also been discovered, the FSB said.

Kiev rejected the claims, and accused Moscow of provocation.

Among those detained in the operation was southern Ukrainian resident Evgeny Panov, who shared details of the plan and who was behind it, according to the footage of his questioning shown by the Russian media.

“I was invited to Kiev, where I was told about the formation of a group which would be sent to carry out acts of diversion in Crimea. The group was comprised of active officers from Ukraine’s military intelligence service. The operation was prepared by Ukraine’s Defense Ministry. The plan was to blow up Russian military hardware. And of course, there was a high risk of killing people in the process.”

With the group, Panov traveled to several cities in Crimea and chose a number of potential targets – a ferry crossing, an oil plant in Feodossia, a helicopter regiment, and the ‘Titan’ chemical factory in the town of Armyansk.

Panov was paid about $130 for the operation, he added.

A day after the FSB announced the foiled plot, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko urged all military units near Crimea and the eastern Ukrainian Donbass region to be at the highest level of combat readiness.

The Ukrainian security forces on the border with Crimea are ready "for any turn of events," the aide to the Ukrainian border service, Oleg Slobodyan, told journalists at a briefing following the president’s statement.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Ukraine has turned to "the practice of terrorism" and "is playing a dangerous game," calling Kiev's actions "stupid and criminal."

Crimea ready to sue Ukraine over ‘20 years of looting’ – official
https://www.rt.com/politics/356818-crimean-official-says-republic-might/

Quote
Crimea’s deputy PM has told reporters that the republic could sue Ukraine in an international court for damages inflicted by 20 years of disastrous misrule that could be compared to looting, which ended in the collapse of the peninsula’s infrastructure.

“Crimea has the right to file a countersuit and demand that Ukraine compensates for the looting it did on the peninsula for two decades. At that time, under the ‘patronage’ of Kiev authorities, Crimean lands and real estate got sold for nothing. They took all of the taxes that were collected, but invested nothing into our infrastructure or economy,” deputy chairman of the Crimean government Ruslan Balbek said in comments with RIA Novosti.

His remarks came soon after Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin promised that his country would soon sue Russia for allegedly breaching the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and a convention banning the financing of terrorism. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also issued a statement in June alleging that Russia had breached the Convention on the Law of the Sea, while promising to appeal to international courts for restitution. “This decision aims to protect Ukrainian rights and interests guaranteed by the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982 violated by Russia in the Crimean territorial sea, waters of the Black and Azov seas and the Kerch Strait, including rights to natural resources of the continental shelf,” the statement read.

Deputy PM Balbek said in his Tuesday comments that Kiev’s threats were pure populist posturing incapable of bringing any consequences. “It is possible that they could find a court that would pass a ruling obliging the Russian Federation to fulfill the Ukrainian demands. But the actual execution of this ruling will only happen in the delirious imagination of the judge and sick ravings of Ukrainian politicians,” he said.

Senator Olga Kovitidi, who represents Crimea in the Upper House of the Russian Parliament, supported the idea of suing the Kiev regime, adding that, in her view, the head of the republic and its government should set up a commission to calculate the exact amount of damages before filing the lawsuit with a court.
...

Btw, Ruslan Balbek is a Tatar - a message for all those outside divide-and-conqueres Wink

FSB Foils Terrorist Plots in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Crimea, Donetsk; CIA Runs from Kiev
https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2016/11/19/fsb-foils-terrorist-plots-in-moscow-st-peterburg-crimea-donetsk-cia-runs-from-kiev/

Quote
Much like the Mosul offensive in Iraq was supposed to be victoriously accomplished in time for US Presidential Elections on November 8, 2016, to give Hillary a boost, various terrorist plots in Russia and Donetsk were also planned to be completed by then for the same purpose. Plus, of course the big one: punish Russia.

We know that Mosul push went nowhere. No ‘Mission accomplished’ in Iraq.

Now let’s see what came out of multiple terrorist attempts in Russia.

...

ou may recall that several months ago there was a major attempt by Ukraine to infiltrate Crimea with its subversive operatives, who were supposed to bomb crucial infrastructure objects in order to create a humanitarian catastrophe. Confessions by said subversives, who turned out to be career officers of Ukraine army, revealed that their acts were specifically aimed at disrupting Russian Duma Elections 2016.

Objects to be bombed included chemical and power plants, as well as hospitals and the famous Crimean Bridge. One-of-a-kind engineering feat, the massive Crimean Bridge, has been dubbed the project of the century. It will connect Crimea with mainland Russia through the Kerch Peninsula, bypassing Ukraine and, thus, alleviating pressure on Crimea. The construction will be finished by the end of 2017-18.

The Ukraine terrorists were also supposed to mass-poison potable water. Crimea suffers from water shortage after in 2014 the Kiev junta destroyed the only ample water source, The North Crimean Canal, running through Ukraine and built by the USSR.  You may recall that in August there were real battles on the border, when Kiev military attempted a veritable invasion into Crimean territory. While deflecting the multiple attacks and arresting armed subversive groups near the border, FSB and Russian Border Guard lost two men.

In late October – early November, another major terror group was arrested. This time the subversive acts were aimed at aiding Hillary and undermining Trump during US Elections. The head of this subversive group is a colonel of Ukraine GUR (State Office of Intelligence). It has to be noted that Russian Intelligence is called GRU (State Intelligence Office). It appears that the Ukraine GUR name was parroted after Russian, but so it wouldn’t seem too blatant, the letters were changed around.

Some of these groups were embedded since 2014, as sleeper cells. They were left behind by Kiev as Crimea transitioned to Russia, with stated purpose of later aiding the future attack on Crimea from within. Others infiltrated into Crimea in the past couple of years, taking advantage of the fact that the border between Ukraine and Crimea is still easily crossed, due to tight connections between the people on both sides.

The original Plan A was for Ukraine, US, and – as they saw it at the time – Turkey, to attack Crimea together and take it back from Russia. Turkey was supposed to have a pivotal role, manipulating the Turkish discontent with the breakup of the Ottoman Empire. Turkish nationalist groups and Crimean Tartar terrorists, armed by Turkey, began amassing in Kherson Oblast bordering Crimea on the Ukraine side.

...

And the good (mixed with some worrying) news:

Quote
FOCUS UKRAINE

CIA evacuating from Kiev to Romania

I was asked whether it was true that CIA operatives were evacuating from Kiev. Yes, it’s true. In 2014 CIA took over the upper 4th floor of the SBU building in Kiev, where Ukrainians were banned from entering. American flag flew over that Ukrainian government building. After Trump election and arrests of subversives in Russia, CIA operatives have hastily evacuated all their papers and moved to Romania. Only CIA analysts (read surveillance, spies-monitors) remain in Kiev.

I can tell you more. This reminds me of one of the most shameful pages in human history: WWII. Anticipating the end, in 1944 Hitler Nazis were hastily burning and evacuating their papers and leaving behind sleeper cells to attack Russia later from within. Some of these cells were the Bandera ukro-nazis trained and left behind in Ukraine. It is the heirs of these Bandera followers who spread fascism all over Ukraine and executed the 2014 coup.

Fast-forward to the end of 2016. History repeats! Anticipating the beginning of the end, both CIA and Kiev junta are now busy embedding long-term sleeper cells all over Ukraine.

I live in Ukraine. Getting pissed off by this country.
An now mom came from Crimea - tells me that people there see it in their dreams becoming a part of Russia. And so, the following ideas came up:
1. Crimea conducts a referendum and declares itself a subject of RF
2. Russia accepts Crimea - who in their right mind would refuse. The Crimean population is delighted in connection with liberation from idiotism and incursions against Russians. And the living standard are looking up.
3. The South-East of Ukraine promptly turns into the South-West of Russia.
4. Yushenko's gang together with USA are utterly miffed by such an outcome, but cannot do anything about it - democracy, after all.
5. Western Ukraine turns into a bit of land without hope that nobody wants, and a mob of jobless brain-dead , chanting "Yushenko! Yushenko! Yushenko!"

Unilateral imposition of Russian governmental will, will not work against China or the USA... Neither subversion nor manipulation... All attempts will be used to evaluate Russian capabilities...
Idiots! In Yalta still not demolished the monument to Lenin. Russia tired to invest in the Crimea, and he will return home to Ukraine. I think that the capture of Crimea was the beginning of the end of Russia. America beat Putin.

Are you kidding? Russia will return Crimea to Ukraine? Good joke. Why they should do that? Who said that they tired to invest in Crimea or is it just your imagination?
Russia want to make Crimea as object of their greatness. They dislocated a lot of army in Crimea and they won't give Crimea back to Ukraine...

Voluntarily give, but soon in Russia the situation will repeat 1991. When there is nothing left to people. In exchange for the help you give not only the Crimea. Or are you going to have rusty tanks?

Within two or three years, the country of Ukraine will be history. The Eastern portions will merge with Russia and the Western provinces will be divided between Hungary, Poland, and Romania. Check this:
