Any pools that are on block 20278 at the moment it's because haven't updated their wallets. Most big pools and all exchanges (Cryptsy included) are on the correct fork. The correct fork is on block 20257 Hash7b6b3ce604abb632e4b9fd0c79833184deb7226a9a2d98927eb8ea45e8d0f73c, as you can see on the block explorer. hashfever and dedicated seem to be on the correct fork.

So they are going to "air drop" between 5,000 and 10,000 SPA to everyone that ask for them... good, hot air but with a lot of zeroes in it, may catch the imagination of the people and decide to buy a tablet, download a wallet, open an account at Cryptsy and trade it for euros that take weeks to get home after they are taken 20% or more off in fees. I believe millions of Spaniards will fall for this, I'm sure...
Oh wait, how many coins were there available to be "air dropped"? 50 million? so if 5 million people request the coins, that's it, isn't it? (5,000,000 x 10,000 = 50,000,000). Hum, Spain has 50 million Spaniards... I must be missing something here...

if airdrop will be 1000 or more coin... price down like aurora... 300-500 satoshi for SPA well THE DEV ALREADY SAID THAT THE DROP WILL BE BETWEEN 10 AND 50 EUROS PER PERSON, THAT MEANS, AT CURRENT PRICE, BETWEEN 5,000 AND 10,000 spa (sorry caps stuck). and 300-500 satoshi seems like a perfectly reasonable price after the dump...but, in all fairness, I wish it would follow the aurora route, because that one rebounded to a decent value currently so if they give you 10,000 and you buy another 10,000 for a pittance, you can find yourself eventually with $30,000 in your pocket... IF it follows aurora. Most likely, it will not but hey, way abandon hope completely... the dev is working so hard at... what is he working hard at again?

The total market cap (including mined coins) is 350 000 usd , that's 250 000 euros. It will mean there will be between 25 000 and 5000 spanish citizen receiving coins. This is will be one hell of a "nation" coin.

Good morning my dear trolls, naysayers and whiners. It seems you're all together today, I see you're doing fine! We won't be giving away 5k or 10k SPA per person, more like 1k, 2k. But it will depend on the value at the time of the airdrop. And less in later stages. It's a pity BTC and altcoins are going down at the moment (oh wait, they're not a "big big fail" too?), bad timing! Other things: the airdrop software is almost done and ready, we'll be testing it with several people (1 SPA payouts from my own coins) later today. The Spaincoin marketplace is coming soon too, we have to add some finishing touches to the software.

That isn't what your plan says: Premined coins distribution:
It will be done in 5 stages, starting on April 16: Stage Coins/person Coins: People: 1 100 5M 50k 2 50 2.5M 50k 3 25 2.5M 100k 4 10 8M 800k 5 1 7M 7M Total: 25M coins for max 8M people. We assume not every Spaniard will claim their coins. Each stage will last 2 moths, any coins remaining will be either rolled over to the following stage or destroyed. We will watch the coin supply and try not to flood the market giving away coins (we'll probably place daily quotas in the first few days of giving out coins, so that at least no more coins are being given away than being mined).

My plan didn't expect the value of SPA, altcoins and BTC to drop so dramatically during the past month. That plan is no longer valid because 100SPA is not nearly enough incentive for people to get coins.

There is nothing wrong with changing a plan if the circumstances change.

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians." Martin Armstrong
