I can't imagine myself investing into scam ICO almost every time and i feel the sane thing is applicable to virtually everyone. Which is why we need to learn how to analyze ICOs before investing. The first thing that should attract every investor, should be a uniquely well written  and not copied from another ICO. The content must be original. The project must also have its tokens or coins backed up with a good product and a working team.

That is the easiest thing you can do but it's also one of the laziest, you will be relying on people that you do not know about what coin you're going to choose as an investment, and that is a huge mistake because you do not know them, you do not know how prepared they are, and you do not know if they were paid to give a positive review, something that is very common in all kind of review sites, so it's better that you do your own research and come to your own conclusions.

Same topic posted a lot of times in different thread. I don't know accurately how to detect scam project or fake ico something like that. But  you can follow project background i mean how much strong development and which project real products or not. And how much good reviews and research with whitepaper.

Many people do not take the time to make a research about the project in which they want to invest in, they are desperate to try to invest in a project as soon as possible so they can get some kind of bonus when they do, but I have always wondered what it is the point of getting a bonus of a coin that is not worth anything, it is way better to just wait until you finalize your analysis about the coin and if that means losing some of the bonuses then that is something that you will have to live with.

Personally I believe that bounty managers should do their due diligence before launching the bounty for an ICO. If a project has no team, then they better have an amazing explanation for it, as this is one of the surest signs of an impending scam. Ideally, the bounty manager would read through the whitepaper and see how viable the project is before taking on the bounty, as nobody likes participating in failing projects.

expand your knowledge and analysis is the best tool to get to know a scam and not. It was not fully able to right but at least will know the signs on this scam or not. What's more, this is a thing that must be mastered in crypto because the scam is currently very much popping out and without stock will certainly be tough to be successful in this field.

One of the classic ways is when high members begin to sneak into SCAM projects, when this happens, it's advisable to search, because usually these members may even realize that these scammers have already been on other projects! Failure to meet deadlines also justifies doubts and beyond unviable promises.

Doing airdrops is a good way to build fake communities.. I think most bounties are real because they are a lot of work to manage.

I don't think so, because nowadays most of the bounty campaign and ICO are scam. Actually it is hard to know if the bounty is a scam in the beginning, mostly you will realize that is a scam is in the middle of the campaign.

Scam ICO's are everywhere but I don't think there is a point to create a fake bounty. It's just a waste of energy unless their main goal is just to capture the details of the participants like email address, telegram and social media accounts.

Most of the bounty managers are not aware if the bounty they were working for will be successful. No actually know if the ICO will be a success. That is why not a lot of people preferred to invest on ICO and just settling for established coins or top tier coins.

now it takes a lot of such projects, only for fraud and enriching themselves. those who will become victims are investors and bounty hunters who lose their money and time. now start choosing a project that already has a position because I see some projects that have run and then hold ico and bounty very little risk of fraud.

what kind of tools do you mean? in my opinion it is not a tool that is the problem, but myself. if we are careful in choosing ICO by analyzing it first before participating in it I think a fake ICO can be avoided.

The easiest thing that you can do, go to ico review sites such as icobench or other site.

yes you are correct. Now some of the ratings are giving for money. Therefore rating itself not giving good assurance regarding a ICO. Together with rating we have to look for other aspects of the project as well to identify good ICOs.

To detect fake ICO, it's best to check it out. Read their white papers, learn about the development team, check out the networking sites, etc.

So if we can't believe some ICO rating site again, it all depends on us. Or maybe if you afraid but want to buy some token from that, join it when it listed to market. At least you can safe from fake ICOs.
