Actually there is no tools to detect fake ico and bounty. I think it is not easy to detect fake icos and bounties because now there are lots of fake iicos and bounties. We can't 100% identify but we can find some fake one using some methods. Firstly, we must consider about the project of the ico. Then we must consider about rating of the ico in ico rating sites and experts ideas about the project. Then we must consider about team members and advisors. If we consider about those things we can identify some fake icos.

I will not have a device that can detect fake ICO. we ourselves must be careful when choosing ICO. before joining the ICO before doing research. who is the working team and the dev if the dev has often been the manager of a project then maybe this ICO is not a scam. but if the dev team is not as famous as it is, don't choose the ICO. then read the whitepaper carefully looking for the purpose of this project and see the sales of the tokens reaching softcap or not. don't despair there are still many ICOs that don't scam.

I have long joined the crypto currency business and I have also been a victim of several bounty campaign and ICO scams. I myself as a crypto currency player for a long time is still very limited to detect bounty campaign  and ICO fraud. I will only advise the crypto currency forum to create a special and official institution that regulates the process of running the ICO and the bounty campaign. This special institution will later be tasked with giving permission for the running of the ICO and the bounty campaign. After the assignment was carried out, the agency will be tasked with overseeing the running of the ICO and the bounty campaign. I am sure that if this system is tightened then the founders of fake ICO or fake bounty campaigns will not be able to carry out the action. All ICOs and bounty campaigns will go through one door so that no one will arbitrarily establish a bounty campaign or ICO if they don't have a clear and tangible project.

The only tools is to research deeper about the project so you can found out if they are real or not because fake project has many holes and inconsistent on their whitepaper if they have and fake location and team.

In fact, there is no sure way to know scam ICO or not. Study of documents, reliability of bounty Manager... None of that matters. Sometimes, even the most recommended project can be a scam.

There are many ico who just put the name blockchain behind their idea even though that idea may not need the advantages a blockchain gives to work in the real world.

First of all, don't be lazy searching all the details that are needed to determine fake ICOs and bounty.

In ICO you should first check the background of the ICO team if they are really exist and have a verified public social media accounts like Linkedin.

Check their white paper if the project is good to be true or very impossible to be adopted in a real world.

Check their activities if they are active in live streaming.

In bounty always trust those already trusted and repeat how you do research in ICO.

Whitelisting is often difficult to detect in a fake ICO project and a real ICO project, so I think it should be combined with the smartcontract test. That's how often I check out a fraudulent ICO project or potential ICO project, and do not forget to check out the team.

It is preety hard to detect such ICO, but there are still some methods for that.
Are team members enough transparent in their experience and collection progress?
Are there fake reviews and huge bonuses?

Base on my experience in detecting fake ICO and bounty i always look for the highest rank member who participate if the rank are purely low who participated means its 50-50 situation so much better i always refer to highest rank in selecting ICO to be work on.

Let us make it simple for you, if you follow what others suggestions there is a big chance you won't enter into fake ICO. But it doesn't mean you won't get into scam along your way. That is why not to be lazy rather be responsible and be more diligent is your duty to maintain your own security whether it is about ICO, wallet, and bounties.

Scam projects are "getting better" from time to time, and so it is really hard to detect them sometimes. Of course there are signs, like unrealistic promises, fake followers. Maybe it is also a good idea to type the name of the ICO, and the word scam to google, and see if there is any result.

Scam ico has started to look different now which makes it hard to detect. A lot of scam icos now have a very good managements and team but when the ico ends they just vanished out of nowhere. Your greatest weapon against scam icos is still knowledge and always do your research before participating on icos.

You don't need a tools to actually detect whether the ICO campaign is fake or not. By just viewing the site, reading the whitepaper, verifying the team, and also joining in the community chats in telegram, and also in following its social media, you can know if it is a fake or not.
You will never know which ICO is fake with your checker. It is an old-fashioned way of checking and now the scammers do everything that looks great. I have seen some ICO with over 50k members in telegram, website, whitepaper, team..etc, everything is great but it is a scam

I agree, scammers and fraud do everything they can to make their scammy ICO look legit.  They even take several high profile linkedin as if they are actually involved in the project.  One way to check is to look at scam accusation board of this forum.  Several concern members are exposing scam projects by creating thread and exposing red flags about why the project is a possible scam.  You can also verify all the details on their website but that would need a lot of effort.

It's really a difficult process to know that which bounty is scam. One usual way is to check it out on different dimension.like member on telegram, whitepaper, reputation of bounty manager but all this is very comprehensive  process. But still there is no scientific way to know about this

I have seen a lot of bad bounty managers, who manage the great campaigns. And I also saw a bad bounty campaign with a cool manager, but he was a scammer. First of all, you should check the project and it's team, and then make a decision - join this campaign or not.

Pls what are the best way to detect fake ico and fake project... We can't continue working to promote them and later discovered that it is bounch of fake... We really need tools to detect fake ico
There will be no tools to help you analyze the ICO project is fake or good. The best way to get paid is to join reputable management teams. That is very important because they only select real ICO projects and really want to call for capital to work collaboratively. Amazix team is a good example.
