I won't argue that Ripple isn't a good project. It is indeed on of the promising projects in the crypto space, but comparing it with BTC is what is not possible. There is no way Ripple will be likened to BTC not with the features of BTC as well as its potentials. ETH doesn't even stand a chance let alone Ripple.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

In reality how can Ripple be compared with BTC? What is its underlying features that will make it more valuable than Bitcoin? There are things to be considered before saying such. Now back to your question, Ripple is far from being the next Bitcoin, I don't think it will more valued than BTC.

Ripple is a joke when compared to Bitcoin. In the first place why will anyone compare Bitcoin to ripple? Sounds weird and lame. Ripple is good on their own part, project-wise but not compared to BTC for crying out loud. Well, having some on your portfolio for long term is cool, because for now it's best for cross-border payments, but I think JPM coin will be a direct competitor if the rumours come true.

Ripple is good from trading point of view. You can hold this coin when dip and then hold and then sell later on.  But right now it cannot become bitcoin. Firstly because it is decentralized coin. Second bitcoin is fair of crypto market and as large as crypto develop the bitcoin develop along with that
